I came to visit my mom and could not believe how much she had improved well staying with Arden Courts at Towson. It warmed my heart to see the executive director care for her like family. The staff are genuine and true. We are so fortunate to have found this beautiful home like environment for mom. Our family is always well. I visited Ardent Courts and was greeted by wonderful caregivers...So shoutout to them. They gave me a wonderful experience and was very respectful...I would highly recommend them to anyone whose looking for great care.

My entire family came on a Saturday for a tour when my mom and dad were both admitted to the hospital. The marketing person came in to meet us in a minute notice and could not have been more helpful and more informative. We were very happy with the level of expertise and everything surrounding the dementia care that our mother needed. We were absolutely shocked that the executive Director was willing to come in to the hospital to provide an assessment for mom and work with the social workers on a safe discharge for both mom and dad. Eventually, our father was also moved in to Arden Courts and together they made many friends and finally received the care that they both needed. Recently, my parents have both returned home to us in Idaho. Everyone seemed to work together and was able to meet our urgent desperate needs. Beyond a doubt this entire team was the best, we can’t forget one of the best parts was the little puppy who comes to work there mom and dad love him so much thank you!

My entire team was impressed with the expertise and care provided to their residence. We were deeply moved by their genuine support for dementia patients. In fact, on several occasions, the executive director invited patients
to come and join us in conversation, making them feel like they were part of the group and accepted. What a difference they have made for their residents. We were all very impressed and will continue to confidently refer our patients in need to this beautiful dementia care facility.

Visited my Grandpa
I was able to come and visit my grandpa at Arden Courts of Towson and was happy with what I saw. My grandpa was a huge part of my childhood and with his dementia diagnosis, it has been hard for me to adjust with his condition. The caregivers and staff of the community seem very well trained in dementia guidelines and I feel confident with his care.

Mom's new home
I'm having a good experience with them, but they're also small things that I feel need improvement like her floor is not always clean when I come to visit her and she has ants. I go every weekend, and when they did clean, it could be sticky. She's not always getting her teeth brushed, and I don't like that. I find things in her room that don't belong to her, or I'm missing things that do belong to her, and I put her name on everything. I do like the staff a lot, but I have a problem with the amount of rent that is going up as much as it did, and she's only been there since the last of May. I don't want to move her from there for a cheaper place because I like the location and I like the people. Honestly, when I first got there, I gave them a 5 because it was all new and I didn't know what to expect. But with some of the small issues, it dropped them down to a 4 but I still think that that is a good rating. I just hope that I don't have too many other issues that would cause them to drop any lower.

The biggest problem is they need employees.
They are being reorganized.
On weekend nights they may have 4 employees working.
Just because the staff calls in, does not mean the care isn't still needed. My loved one gets additional help and things have been better. They are getting noticeably better, each week, in a lot of areas.

Review Arden Courts of Towson
My dad spent the last 15 months of his life at Arden Courts and it was the right place for him to be. He enjoyed the space, people, and care. The staff was so caring in his final weeks and the nursing team worked well coordinating hospice, etc. As a family member, I always felt welcomed there. The Executive Director, [name removed], is a great communicator and advocate. I always felt heard by the entire team.

It's absolutely terrible. The cost has increased $[removed]. They always have an issue with bedbugs and cannot seem to get them under control. They are severely short staffed. I would never ever ever recommend it to anyone.

Family Friendly Specialized Memory Care
My father was a difficult frontal dementia case. When we would visit and he was always with people. The talented activity staff could interact with people of different severity levels. The design of the facility engaged my father's need to wander. The staff and administration were available and attentive to our needs. They were always welcoming and came to know us. The pricing structure of the facility was predictable and straightforward. We felt lucky we were able to have our father spend his final months at Arden Courts. It probably saved my mother's life.

Good Place for Dementia Care - Would Recommend
I think they do a good job. There are four pods/hallways, each with about 10 rooms. The unit my loved one is is well managed. They take really good care of everybody. They’re very patient and good with their residents. The food is good. They make their own food right there and have their own chef. Although sometimes it’s hard to get ahold of the staff, the people I’ve met are friendly and open. They’re very patient and willing to answer any questions. They have a lot of activities - I see a lot going on when I come to visit. And they try to get my loved one involved. The cost is high, but they're able to handle my loved one with dementia behaviors. They have a psychiatrist and a physician on duty. The nurses are good, and if something needs to be changed, they work with me to do that. If anything goes wrong, they call me right away. And I appreciate their diligence in keeping me up to date with what is going on with him The director is very pleasant, cordial, and accessible. There is a nice ¼ mile enclosed walking area that is well planned and pretty, with sidewalks and not dirt to walk on. There is also a courtyard with tables and gazebos. If you feel like you can afford it, your loved one will get good care here.
