5 for all. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mom loves the trips out for lunch and ice cream. Beauty shop is just down the hall from her room. Delicious meals always with a dessert or bar. Studio deluxe is perfect size for my mom with private bathroom and refrigerator.

I cannot say enough good things about Charter Senior Living of Hazel Crest. I chose Charter for my mother after her brain surgery, and it became a true home for her and a source of comfort for our family. The staff was caring, consistent, and compassionate, and the facility was clean, welcoming, and well maintained. [names removed] and so many others showed genuine love and dedication to the residents and their families. In my mom’s final days, the care she received brought us great peace. [name removed] went above and beyond by staying with my mom after her shift so she would not be alone, and that compassion reflected the culture at Charter. I am deeply grateful for the compassionate care they gave my mother and the comfort they gave our family. I would highly recommend Charter Senior Living of Hazel Crest.

Host was very helpful. We got to see the facility and a typical apartment. We discussed costs and the waiting list. She also made some suggestions of similar places to visit.

The facility was very clean and seems very organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms I saw seemed to meet the needs I am looking for my mother. I really liked the different activities that the residents can engage in, and the social atmosphere was impressive.

My dad has adjusted better than I expected (esp. since he went from rehab hospital directly to Charter without returning to his home). He has friends he dines with, plays cards and bingo, enjoys when musicians come to perform. He is in a studio which he was unhappy about at first; we were trying to stretch his funds out as long as possible. He also arrived there using a wheelchair so that made sense. He now has a walker, and with that's his care plan is less expensive, and is happy with/used to the studio. Overall we're happy with the staff, care and facility at Charter.

Overall we like the place. Dad absolutely loves his apartment he just wishes that he had a balcony which they don't have and I understand. Most of the staff has been excellent. They have had a turnover in director of nursing, but the majority of the staff appear to be stable. I have had to follow up on Dad's care I don't think he was getting the level of care that we agreed upon when he went into the facility I feel as though he told them he could do more for himself than he could and they took his word for it instead of what is really going on. Communication is good the nurses call every issue that they've had my dad has a tendency to fall and they call as soon as they know about it. They have a variety of activities every week. I do think that they should try and encourage people to attend these activities more than they do.

5 across the board. I am so glad you recommended this place. My "cottage" is perfect. 2 bedrooms & baths, plenty of storage, garage for car and additional storage, front and back patios. I have areas to plant flowers if I choose to but yard in general is managed by lawn care. There is a monthly calendar sent to residents listing activities, entertainment and social occasions for any or all residents. I am very glad I made this move and that this site was recommended to me. Because it seemed so perfect, it was the first and only place I looked.

What's to say! They are an EXCELLENT choice, with staff that goes the extra mile not just for the patient, but also the patients loved ones. Definitely would recommend this community to others! I just wish more people could afford the nursing/end-of-life care when they need it.

Place is beautiful, clean and helpful/friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Dining (restaurant style) and a lot of various activities. Very community/home atmosphere

I got the last studio apartment they had for now. I think it will serve my purpose. It’s very nice and clean.

The staff was great we never had a problem with them. Her room several times when we went there looked like they hadn't even bothered to clean it. There was always crap on the toilet that could've improved. The room size was great. We had no problem with that.

Five members of our family toured the Pekin facility. We were all very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the lovely condition of the building itself. The lunch served was nutritious and delicious! The patio and grounds are beautifully kept. We are hoping that our sister will decide to move in permanently after trying it for three months. We believe that she would be safe and very happy in this community.

[Name Removed] apartment has always been immaculate whenever I visit, including bathroom. He seems to enjoy most of his meals and he has a couple of gentleman that he enjoys being with. He doesn't engage in a lot of social activities, but at 91 he still drives and is an avid reader. As of today their is nothing negative that I would want to say.

Staff is always friendly, he loves the food and has began to gain weight again. He had lost 40 when my mother got sick. His room looks clean and he is very happy with the laundry service. He has made friends and has began to get involved with the Wednesday outings.

The staff has been wonderful and caring, from administration to aides. Yes, we would recommend Charter Senior Living of Hermitage to others

I am so glad my uncle chose Southern Pine Memory Care for my aunt's care. They're, they're alive and innovating. My aunt is so happy. We traveled so far to see this. We are so grateful for what Southern Pine Memory Care has done for our aunt.

My mom is a resident of Fox Hollow. [name removed] and her staff in memory care are exceptional. Our family is out of town periodically and we feel confident about her care. The facility has been renovated and is very well maintained.

Everyone very caring, very efficient. Very loving, even when in trying circumstances. I would recommend to others. Just wonderful kindness from the sweet lady who cleans to the two ladies in charge.
