It was the 1st place the residents AND all the staff were happy. It is much smaller than many of the facilities visited. Many of the direct care providers have been with The Greens at Greenwich for many years. They genuinely care about the residents. Our family is extremely pleased with the care our loved one receives at the Greens at Greenwich. Our loved one is always well kempt. She is kept active throughout the day. The meals look and smell delicious. There are so many activities available. Music, chair yoga, trips to museums, painting and opportunities to interact with peers and staff. It is more expensive than other facilities, but knowing our loved one is safe, and receiving appropriate dementia care puts our minds at ease. She is mentally engaged. Keeping patients with dementia appropriate mental and physically active has been shown to slow the progression of the disease.
