The one thing that I really like is that it's a smaller community, which I feel makes it more family friendly. The staff is great, they go out of their way to be accommodating. When we walk in, everyone knows who my mom is and knows her by name. When I pick mom up, she's always in a great mood and has made new friends. Communication with the family is very good. The activities have been great, however, the Activities Director recently left and they're working on hiring a new one. She played a big part in the day to day for the residents, especially with keeping them active and engaged. So hopefully they find a new one soon. The only suggestion I would offer is to maybe have a bi-weekly or monthly newsletter to keep families updated and informed. That would be a great and helpful thing to have. But overall, we're very happy with this facility and my mom is given excellent care here.
