There is a bit of a turn over of staff here at Partin Place as a new company just recently purchased it but what I've seen so far has been great! It is so much better than the facility we were at previously. The room sizes in memory care are adequate, the bathroom here is much larger.

Superior Residences
Quality staff is being replaced by a constant turnover of 'agency' workers.
Management claims 'open door' policy but refrains from contact with families. Management actually discourages staff from communicating with family. Very little personal interest in residents is shown by management. Atmosphere of 'fear of job loss' shown by remaining staff. 4.5 months was enough for us to remove mom from a toxic environment.

Great staff!
Superior is a caring environment. The staff are kind and take care of each client’s needs! The facility is clean and has a homey atmosphere. We researched and toured several facilities before A Place for Mom found Superior Residence for us.

Unprofessional , lack of communication and short of staff
Inappropriate language heard as general conversation from staff, inappropriate dress apparel worn by management and care partner. Disrespectful toward residents from Care partners , staffing with one nurse to 60 residents. Management does not answer phone when notified of staffing needs or resident care at times. . Poor communication and training from management. Over all, I’m very displease with lack of communication with family and staff. From observing, I would not recommend this facility for employment or placement for my love one. Med techs not properly trained , rough handling of residents , especially observed on west side of facility.

Excellent facility except
I would recommend except for the food. Very disappointed in the "chef prepared meals". My loved one has complained about them daily and has lost 15 pounds in three months. We picked this community because of the cleanliness, friendliness, central location, and cost.

We love the people at Superior, Niceville!
I rate all on 5+++ - they are amazing!
We had some significant difficulties getting our loved one out of an assisted living facility in St louis. [name removed] was very patient, helpful and cooperative with us as we went through the process of getting him moved into Superior at Niceville.
[name removed], and the entire staff at Niceville Superior, are so kind and thoughtful! They made us feel valued, heard, and like we were the only people in the world they were working with. They are very personable and truly care about the residents.
The entire staff is extremely professional, yet also very personable and caring.
[name removed] asked us to call or text her when we got close to the facility. We did and as we drove up, they literally rolled out a red carpet with about five staff members there to greet him, making him feel welcomed, and letting us know that they truly cared about our loved one.
Most important to us is, assurance that our loved one is now in a facility where we know he will be well cared for; social interaction will be met, he will receive good nutritional meals and all of his medical needs will be addressed in a timely manner.
My first-hand experience is that Superior, Niceville, is a warm caring place that genuinely cares about their residents and most importantly, cares for someone we love very much

After touring Superior Residences of Niceville, I thought it was a very nice facility, very clean, with very, very friendly staff. But it was farther away, so the convenience was not there for us.

This facility is clean but Covid has taken a toll for everyone. Unfortunately, activities have dropped off dramatically and the food is not great. But the staff does seem to work hard - nurses, CNAs, maintenance. Visiting before was difficult but no one's fault. Just wish staff would not be a revolving door. But those who are long term employees do it because they seem to care.

Poorly run facility.
I would never again allow anyone in my family to be placed in Superior. I was given inaccurate information about the services they provide and my loved one was injured . I was given “nurses notes” that were a joke and seemed to have been written after the fact, never could get the same version twice of the accident.
It is a difficult decision to place a loved one in a facility and it is heartbreaking to find out they were neglected when they can’t care for themselves.

Superior Residences review
The location is near my home, about 5.2 miles away. This review is in regards to the memory care section. The outside looks very good but I was not able to go back and try out a meal prior to placing her in this location. I understand why after seeing the meals. I have been in a couple medicaid only facilities and the meals are better there. I had a major issue getting the medication she is to take straightened out. After taking in a heating pad initially, it was taken away as there was not an order. I did get an order and they have not found the heating pad yet. I will probable take in another one. There is a lack of discipline among the workers as they play their music and they congregate together and not checking on others who are in their room. The place is clean. There is an activities chart on the wall but all the times I have been in there the only activity is music and trying to get the residences to also sing along. The TV is going all the time.

Nice community and tour
This is a very nice community and our tour by the staff was done very well. they took their time showing us around and answering all our questions. There are a lot of amenities for the residents and I would suggest taking their tour of this community.
