Huge relief mom will be ok
What stood out most is that it's clean, there are a lot of activities for residents. The food is very good. I would recommend them to others who are needing to find a place for their loved one.

overall great place.
New chef has a tough act to follow, and is still improving. Higher prices have forced him to change vendors for the worse. This has not been helpful. Food can vary from ok to very good, and what you receive may not exactly match the menu description, but generally it's good.
Care services are good, but aides need better training before being thrown into the more customized, bordering on medical, services. They could use two groups of aides based on skill level.

They need more staff. All nursing facilities are under staffed. [name removed] is no longer at Story Point due to a change in licensing and he needed more care than they could do. He is currently at ST. Clare Commons. They have the same issues. Story Point has a great a

Wouldn’t want my parents anywhere else
Storypoint Waterville has been phenomenal. The facility is clean, beautiful and well appointed. And my parents love the food!
I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They made a difficult transition go very well, especially when we needed to move my mom into memory care.
You truly feel like they have your parents best interest at heart.
I highly recommend.

StoryPoint Waterville Review
The facility is kept in great condition and updated. The staff is extremely helpful and listens to any ideas or concerns you may have. The new director has added a lot of new ideas and events which has been wonderful. The new Chef has introduced new menu ideas that have been very enjoyable and are fresh. I would recommend that people make sure the location isn't too far away from familiar places. It is very windy so outside activities can be limited.

very nice community
My mom loves it there. She's very involved in activities and she loves her neighbors and she's really enjoying her experience there. So keeping consistent good employees has been a challenge for Storypoint. I would recommend them. They've had some issues with some employee turnover in the past year. They've got a new activities Director, a new facility Director, a new driver and a new chef.

GREAT PLACE
The community is will staffed. They provide everything for your loved one as possible and are very caring. The rooms are large enough to accommodate extra furniture such as a chair and sofa. They have an excellent cooking staff with a variety of different foods for eating.

My experience
When it comes to the cleanliness it could use a deep cleansing in the hallways as well as the common areas. The care services depends on the staff members Some are excellent. The night shift and afternoon shifts not so much. For the value for cost, is could be better. However based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.
