Katy explained everything and answered all my questions and loved the place.
I was impressed on your facility. Was very clean. Staff was friendly clients look happy being there. My tour went very well and everything was explained to me, and all my questions were answered. I would highly recommend your place to other family and friends. My mother is on Medicare and Medicaid which doesn’t help very much since 100% of this is out-of-pocket, therefore I wish these type of facilities were less expensive.

An answer to prayer
My mother loves the food. There is great variety and the food is excellent quality. She loves the community she has created and enjoys the games, exercises, and events. She loves her apartment. Everything has been better than she dreamed. Solstice has been a real blessing.

Good but could improve.
Pros: The staff is great. Friendly, professional, helpful, just amazing personalities all the way around.
The activities are fun.
Cons: The food is sometimes not even edible. We filed a complaint and that is supposed to be getting better.
The cleaning crew is overwhelmed and they don't clean it as thorough as I would like but I am VERY picky about cleanliness.

A True Gem
We picked Solstice for 3 reasons:
1. The exterior was clean and neat and well/maintained and the interior was light and bright and newly decorated tastefully, and calm, and had a welcoming feeling. These things are very important to my mother's peace of mind.
2. The marketing person,[name removed], was exceptionally friendly, compassionate, enthusiastic, and understanding of how involved a senior move can be.
3. Price was affordable instead of prohibitive.

Happy with our choice
Very helpful staff. Friendly, kind and always willing to help. Facility was in the process of being redone/redecorated while mom was moving in. It made such a big difference in the overall appearance...very welcoming and inviting. Lovely.

Good experience
I chose this because the apartment was larger than any of the others places that I looked at, it has a patio around it and is very spacious. They have been short staffed, but the ones who are here are very friendly. I do think they need a PR person, when I first moved in no one really showed me around and I had to fend for myself. Overall, I would recommend the community.

I am well satisfied and would recommend to anybody that is looking
The staff members here are great as well as the housekeeping and the meals provided. Whenever I have had any issues, the maintenance is also really fast. They have all kinds of activities gong on all the time, even with covid. We do bingo over the phone, activity sheets, horse racing, chair exercises, etc. There is also a pool here where they do aerobics. Overall, I have had a very good experience here at Solstice. I can't wait to see what it is like once covid is gone and we are all able to interact more.

Not safe
I have lived here nearly a year and dislike it. I came from a beautiful, well managed place in Green Valley AZ. Here the management tries to avoid the residents and does as little as possible. My apartment and 2 others were burglarized on the same day but no announcement was ever made to be more cautious. Too bad for business.

My experience
The reviews on this page are dated. As of June 1, 2019, the facility has many problems ranging from the quality of food to deterioration of the building. I met no one there happy with the quality of housekeeping nor the food.
I'm told there's been 12 management changes in 3 years! Indeed it has been sold several times in the past three years.

A Worthwhile Community
I had an urgent need for an assisted living residence, so I moved into Harbor Place very quickly. It has been a very positive experience overall. The people and the staff there are all very friendly and accommodating, and I’ve been making a lot of friends. I find that the community is clean and well maintained. They also have activities throughout the community, and each day, the activity schedules are printed on the food menus in the dining rooms. There are free classes on various subjects, water aerobics a couple of times a week, and other activities. One thing that I’m not used to, however, is their mealtime policy. When meals are served, you must get to the dining room at the scheduled meal time. Coffee is served to everyone, and the rest of the meal is served course by course. I have been there at times when it takes up to two hours to get served. They also don’t seem to have many options for people with special diets. Overall, the food does taste good, but the service is not efficient, and the options are somewhat lacking. New management is moving in though, so these things may change for the better soon. Over all, given my urgent need, I find Harbor place to be a worthwhile community.

Place Is Nice
My wife and I are doing ok here. The staff and residents are friendly and nice very welcoming. The community is kept clean and well maintained. The food is very good here. We would recommend this community to anyone. There seem to be quite a few activities being offered and we have done a couple, not a whole lot.

My mom loves it here
My mom really loves it here at Harbor Place, she enjoys paraticipateing in the various activies, and there is transportation for shopping and field trips that are arranged for the residents. All the staff is very friendly and my mom feels comfortable there.

She loves it!
My mother loves her apartment at Harbor Place. It has been a very good experience so far. They provide 3 meals a day and they are good, considering they are cooking for so many people. I would recommend this facility because we have had a good experience with them so far.
