Great place. Wonderful People
My dad has a very nice apartment with utilities paid, 3 meals a day , activities everyday. The staff is wonderful with everyone. My dad says he couldn't ask for anything more for the price he pays monthly, you wouldn't get near what is provided elsewhere. I visited him twice a week and have lunch or dinner with him. The food is great and they offer a main dish plus three alternatives.

I ‘ ve only been here for 2 months and so far so good
I would give it a 3 over all compare to some other places I have lived. The staff is doing the best they can with what they have to work with. Most of the complaints would fall under management. There is no air in the bedroom just the living room.

Wonderful Place
I can’t begin to say how impressed I was with Nouveau Marc. The manager,[name removed] , was wonderful. Extremely kind and patient., she took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything in detail. She gave me on a tour and showed me several apartments to choose from. The entire facility is lovely. Bright, cheery and spotless. It’s extremely well kept and everyone I encountered was happy to be there whether they were employees or residents. I was just so thrilled to find this oasis after weeks of disappointing visits and abysmal living circumstances elsewhere.

A great place for seniors
Overall, it's a great place. The staff and the other residents are very friendly. It was just a little too structured for me. I needed a little bit more freedom, so that's why I decided to just get my own apartment.

Amazing care
The staff and community members are very kind and helpful while transitioning in and out of the facility. They truly went above and beyond in helping us keep an eye on our father during the early stages of dementia, until he needed more care!

Everyone has been very nice.
The meal time dishes (glasses, cups, cutlery, flat ware, etc.) could be cleaner.
The guy who was in charge left at the end of November. No telling how things are going to go.

Enjoying my Time at Nouveau Marc
Nouveau Marc was very welcoming to all it's residents. Activities were fun and enjoyable. Food was okay but it beat cooking. I would recommend for seniors who can manage on their own. Great Place.

I have a very good relationship with staff. they are helpful and there for you, just ask them when needed. Our manager is A1 ok. Building and apartment are great. We do need another elevator - we only have one. We have some tasty meals most of the time but we get there and have to wait up to 45 minutes

Review for Holiday Nouveau Marc
It's great for someone in their 70's or 80's if it's affordable for them. My husband and I are in our late 60's it was ok for us while our house was being repaired from hurricane Ida. We were not ready for senior apartment living. The meals were very good when they had the chef he took another job and the meals were not as good. The staff is very nice and they try to keep the place clean but some residents have dogs and there were fleas but the staff were trying to stay on top of that. I did also appreciate church service offered every Saturday morning. It's a very nice place if you have to live that lifestyle.

Atrocious
This facility needs to be closed, renovated and cleaned. Most of the residents are rude and uncaring much like the staff. It seems to be operated much like a hospital. It’s a you get what we give you attitude! I’m so sorry that my loved one had been placed in this facility. Hopefully, this review will keep you from putting your loved one there.

Facility not as advertised
Several of the services advertised here do not exist, making Holiday liable for fraud. "Three Chef Prepared Meals Daily" is inaccurate, as food is prepared (poorly) by random staff members.
Meals will feature food fit for a prison facility or perhaps mental institution: a "sandwich" of white bread and sliced meat, no condiments. Food with an odd chemical taste. Burnt food. All served by a staff, some of which are nice, others who think it's cute to talk back to helpless seniors paying their life savings to stay here.
Likewise, the "Complimentary Scheduled Transportation" does not exist, as they have been without a driver for several months.
"Maintenance" is also fraudulent, as they have a maintenance person who seems to spend most of the day chatting in the lobby and refuses to assist residents with basic help.
On the plus side, it's a quiet facility with some nice people, but the cons are far outweighed by management that clearly does not know how to run a facility.

Very poor
Some people are nice, but they are severely understaffed. Food is minimal and unprofessional. Many staff members appear unhappy and sour. Shuttle service does not actually exist. Carpets are filthy. Look elsewhere.

Very Pleasant and Positive
The staff are responsive to any needs the family or resident may have. The activities such as keno, bingo, technology assistance days, entertainment, chair exercise and more for the residents to participate in if they choose to.

Pretty good experience
We chose Noveau Marc because she is able to have a balcony and the room size was bigger than some others that we looked into. The meals here are chef prepared and she enjoys them. The staff members have been extremely friendly. We do have to get on them about cleaning the rooms, they are supposed to come weekly but not always happen. I would recommend to others looking.

Our Tour Experience
Our virtual tour at Nouveau Marc was fine. I was a little taken aback by the community fee. They went through everything, and then it was brought up at the end, which was a bit of a shock. I know other communities have those fees as well, but this one was so high.
