Pros and cons
They underwent a change over in leadership admin and some of the scheduling for appointments went by the wayside and the time frame was too lengthy outside of 90 days nearly to get services started, but overall they have a good community and activities for resident engagement. Just would've appreciated better transition and communication for service continuity.

Taking Advantage of Seniors
No one answers the phone when you call, and they don't return your call when you leave a message, prices are way out of control, we were charged an extra [Amount removed} from the quote we were given before the next month even began. There is a lack of communication between the nurse and the family members, when tests are done we are not informed of the results, they are one of the lower priced assisted living facilities, until they get you in there and then the price just soars on every little thing.

It was a good experience overall but the facility was in need of updating/maintenance and I didn’t feel this locations was appropriate for my loved one. They provided discounts on room/board and use the term “à la cart” for care services but could provide pricing on individual care services provided which did not make sense.

Overall would recommend
Everyone was very helpful during a time that we had to find a place for Roger very quickly based on when his doctors released him from rehab because it was over the Christmas weekend. The concern was the turnover in management positions during the same time but everything has been working out well.

They are completely money driven. My parents didn't even move in cause their apartment wasn't even ready. I decided not to move them in while we waited, it was just too hard for me emotionally to move them and Brookedale kept thousands of my parents' money. I had to fight to get them a portion of their money back. Would not recommend.

The tour of the facility on Hamilton Wolfe was excellent. My sister who is the candidate for this location loved it.

I feel it is still too soon to have an accurate experience, but so far, I would say a 5 in all categories. Brookdale has been a positive experience. the management staff has been outstanding helping out with my mother's needs, which have increased. Yes, we would recommend Brookdale Hamilton Wolfer to other families

Everyone who assisted us from the advisor with A Place for Mom to the staff at Brookdale Senior Living were very responsive and helpful. They were good listeners and focused completely on my brother whom we were assisting in getting a facility that would address all his needs.

We are very pleased with Brookdale Hamilton Wolfe. I am a sister of resident [name removed] sister. She is who decided to move to Brookdale Hamilton Wolfe. Orientation provided only when requested by family/friends. A few med errors first 2 months. Very flexible with schedules (often hi-salt servings). usually very responsive staff at all levels: kind/genuine. Based on the experience we would recommend Brookdale Hamilton to other families.

I don't recommend Brookdale Hamilton Wolfe. I had my mom at the memory care facility and she fell 6 times. I believe they don't have enough personal to take care of all the people staying at the facility. I had to move my mom out of that place. I was not happy with the facility.
