Living the life and enjoying it!
After living in Barnegat for twenty seven years it was time for me and my wife to move somewhere closer to our children. Let me back up a moment . It was our children that found Brandywine Living .
To tell you the truth at first I was not thrilled with the idea. After moving in [date removed] to Brandywine that was changed from the moment we moved.
The warm welcome, three meals a day, entertainment, therapy room, bed made every day, cloths washed and cleaning room once a week and plenty more. Let’s not forget medical service everyday if needed. The staff here in Brandywine is highly qualified and attentive.
We are living the life and enjoying it!

From day 1 I have felt like a part of the Brandywine family. The entire staff is caring and loving and the residents are their top priority. Thankful for Brandywine at Mahwah
Brandywine at Mahwah has been the godsend to our family. For years we worried about our grandmother on the other end of the country, who rejected our pleas to receive in home help or move to assisted living, despite her having a really difficult and limited life in her home. When she agreed a few years ago that it would be good to try an assisted living facility and decided on Brandywine at Mahwah, she was immediately impressed with the engagement programs and delicious menu options. Having already had years of experience with another close relative in an assisted living facility, I was very hands on, during her years at Brandywine. My grandmother had the best, last 4 years of her life at Brandywine, and we are forever grateful. We are discerning costumers, and I highly recommend Brandywine for your loved one’s care.

What more can I ask for?
After my wife's passing, my daughter went looking for a new home for me. We can to Brandywine for a tour and were asked to stay for a meal. We each got a different meal and passed around our three plates for each other to try. Wow, that was good! During our visit, I listened and at the end I had two questions... "I have a small poodle. Can I bring him along? The answer was yes. My second question was, "Do I have to cook" The answer was no. I responded with "I'm in!". It was the best decision I could have made. Here it is clean and friendly. With Covid19, we have health checks. We have in house medical professionals. There are people who care, good food, and clean quarters. What more could I ask for?

My friend was very happy here
My dear friend [name removed] spent the last year of his life at Brandywine and talking with him regularly I could see how happy he was. His only regret was not to move sooner to Brandywine when he toured new friends and most important for him he enjoyed the food. Visiting this facility 3 times a week got me to appreciate the place and the staff.

I think the place is great!
I think the place is great. The decor is like a hotel than an assisted living. Its extremely clean here! You can't find a speck of dust anywhere and it smells great. The staff as a whole is great. [Name removed] is like an adopted daughter to me. She helps me whenever I need anything at all or when I get upset or "lost". I don't know what I would do without her. The activities are wonderful! I think [name removed] is the greatest! She is creative and her enthusiasm is contagious! We have lots of fun things to do, we go on trips and have happy hour daily! [Name removed] is another one that helps with anything, from a little nothing to a big problem. I have been here for almost 4 years and the food has been great and even improved since [name removed] started here. He is always looking to improve which I greatly appreciate! Overall I am very happy here and glad I moved here!

Brandywine is a lovely place!
Brandywine is a lovely place! It looks like a boutique hotel and is runned professionally. All the staff from the director to housekeepers are kind, professional and make you feel very welcomed and taken care of. Everyone at the community is extremely nice and friendly. The facility is clean and well cared for by the staff. It feels like you are in a 4 star hotel. The staff is always seeking to finish interesting activities for the residents. There is a genuine concern for each client. The focus and mission is to make sure all are cared for and receive all the services and support that they need. It is a place where everyone feels like a beloved member of the family.

GOING DOWNHILL!!
Brandywine has consistently and steadily gone downhill!! My parents were one of the first residents. They were promised the world and all its trimmings. My father has to nag and plead for his services which he pays for, and which are not provided unless he complains. A 92 year old man should not have to do this. He says the food and the service in the dining room is horrible....waits 40 minutes for the meal to be served. Very very disappointed in what is going on there and they are very unhappy. Like a symphony orchestra Brandywine is made up of sections. To make beautiful music there must be a perfect director and that is what we have in Mariola. I could not be happier living here
Words fail me to describe how content I am here. Hotel type building, fine dining, large menu choices, three sittings per day, spotlessly clean, spacious rooms, weekly linen changes, staff very attentive to resident, friendly residents, good companionship, regular entertainment, weekly trips to stores, museums, church etc, Staff drivers to doctors. Such a great place!
Dear [name removed]:
I am an old friend of one of your current residents. In June my wife and I drove down from our home in New Hampshire to say "Goodbye" to my dear friend of 70 years. I found your facility to be everything I would expect from a high-end assisted care, right down to the player piano in the lobby. Your grounds, interior and welcoming staff made us feel at home.
The main reason for this Thank You letter is to commend [name removed], one of your staff on duty the day we came. She was delightful, bringing us up in the elevator to our friend's room on the third floor in memory care. After connecting us with our friend, she was gracious enough to provide these weary travelers with a hot cup of coffee and some cookies, (which was very much appreciated) while we visited. [Name removed] said he really likes her and they often banter back and forth in a positive way. Your [name removed] is a gem.
Our friend is happy with his surroundings and realizes his time on earth is limited. He accepts that fact, and seems grateful for being in your care.
