Helped us in a pinch
The facility kept mom safe and the nursing staff was quite friendly, but the administration left something to be desired. They were unorganized, we had billing problems every month, and our move in was chaotic due to someone leaving the company. For a last minute place it was acceptable, but if your loved one needs long term care I would not recommend.

Care Satisfaction
My parents have been living at Astoria Park Senior Living for 10 months. Although there were some staff changes throughout this period, key management staff remained. My father went through a medical emergency last year and was discovered by the staff on the floor during breakfast check. He was transferred to the hospital promptly and he has since recovered from the illness. We appreciate the care services and the staff at the facility.
My recent visit at the facility was pleasant, especially the new van driver. My father had a clinic visit for blood draw and the driver determined that we should be done fairly quick, so she waited for us at the clinic. It was an excellent experience.

Exceed Expections
Living at Astoria Park has been an amazing experience for me. The care I receive is great. Sometimes the staff goes above and beyond. You can tell they take pride caring for each resident. The community is clean and odorless. I love joining in weekly outings and like that is is centrally located as I grew up in the area. if bring back memories! I would like to see different activities offered and not the same ones weekly.

I live out of state and when I came to visit my loved one at Astoria. I am very pleased as soon as I walked in. I felt at home. I met the employee that has been helping my loved one and I am grateful to have met them as it is not easy doing what they do and dealing with different personalities. The care is good
The facility is nice, although a little outdated. The coordinator was nice and knowledgeable however the move in was rough because she hadn't provided all of the requirements. Then we didn't get charged for months, again due to the same coordinator. Otherwise the staff was pleasant and kept mom safe from the time she moved in until her passing.

Astoria Park is a great place for my parents. The caregivers are super friendly and kind to them, from med room, housekeeping, to food services. The administration staff assisted me through the application process and they were very helpful on the concerns and questions that the family had.
My parents are adapting to the facility very well. The night routine check ups are the best. Elderlies often have to get up at night to use the bathroom and falls can happen. My mother's recent fall at night was caught by the caregivers and they helped her up and be sure that she was fine. This service gives the family a peace of mind knowing that our parents are in good hands.
