Look elsewhere.
I planned on moving my brother in, he was going to be a Hospice patient. These people did not offer a pro-ration for resident death, and worse, I was told my brother would be accepted, as his medical records were made available to the management for review prior to this... a price was quoted. Just before I was to instruct the hospital to move my brother, the owner said the price quoted was not correct, it would be "much more"... and that my brother may not be qualified to move in! If you deal with these people, and you should NOT... be VERY careful about last minute revisions to what was previously stated. Get it all in writing WELL in advance! Untrustworthy people, IMO.

Highly recommended!
Five years ago my client became a resident at Arizona Homestead. Prior to this she had been at three different communities, all of which were unsatisfactory in their care and attention to her needs. I am her advocate and care manager. Her family is out-of-state and isn’t easily able to visit on a regular basis. Since she has been at Arizona Homestead, she has been well cared for and given loving attention and respect. This client is in her 90s and has dementia, sometimes she can be difficult. However, the staff has been patient with her and re-directed her attention, when needed, to more pleasant activities. The owners of Arizona Homestead, [Name removed] are hands-on, day to day operators. They sincerely care for the residents and their staff. I recommend the Arizona Homestead without reservation. I visit my client 2 to 3 times a week and have had ample opportunities to observe the care available to the residents in their care.
