I would definitely recommend Foret Hill Heights because they have been amazing to my mother. I am very happy with the administration and staff. They have bent over backward to accommodate us and other residents, they make them feel at home. They also have activities 24/7! If a resident wakes up at 2 am and can't sleep, they will play cards or just talk with them. I am very pleased with this community.

My father stayed here for respite care. It was a very positive experience. The staff was very attentive to him and made him feel very welcome. There were many activities for him to participate in and he loved the food. It's the best community we've seen in this area.

My mother stayed here for respite. Everything was fine during her stay. The food was okay and she was well nourished. She participated in activities as well.The client contact staff did a wonderful job!

My mother is doing much better since we first moved her in. The director has been very helpful and involved. My mother has made a lot of new friends and gotten involved with activities such as art. They are taking good care of her and even her friends that visits say she has never seen such a good operation. Hopefully, once my mother gets a roommate she will continue to do better.

We are pleased with my father in law move to this community. He is safe and in good hands. It has been a good experience. The staff are taking good care of him and his needs. They are very attentive and kind. We are comfortable with the care he is receiving. Overall it is a good community, and I would recommend it.

I toured this community and it was bigger then what I was looking for at thie time. The staff were nice and my questions. were answered, I saw that there were activities that were offered. It is clean and well maintained. I would suggest other families take a tour to see if this will meet the needs of a loved one for good care and the value.

My mother in law moved into this community for a short time. She needed more then what we were aware of at the time. The staff were very nice and caring to her need. We liked the cleanliness. The food was very good and appealing. They did offer her activities for participation. We would recommend this community for families for care depending on the needs for a loved one.

We love this community. The staff is always on the ball about everything that dad needs. We are really pleased with them. The food is fantastic and the chef is great. He goes to the farmers market for seasonal veggies and also uses a low salt diet. This is one of the best places I have ever seen.

My mother has been enjoying her stay at the Orchard Heights. The meals are wonderful I've had a chance to try them myself. They have a range of activities that the residents could engage in daily. The staff does a fantastic job keeping me informed and taking care of my loved one. I have no complaints about this community.

When I was 13 years old, my mom told me that she never, ever, wanted to be put into a nursing facility and that she was setting up long-term insurance to allow her to stay at home at the end of her life. So, when dementia made that an impossibility, my siblings and I were overcome with guilt and anxiety about how to proceed. The first time I walked into Brookdale Buckingham, my mind was put at ease. The physical environment was as dissimilar as possible from an institution. It was clean, bright, beautiful and inn-like. More important, the emotional environment was warm and nurturing. Our mom has been a resident at Brookdale for 10 months now. Having her there has not only removed the exhausting burden of trying to deal with this heart-breaking disease in her home, but it has removed the guilt and anxiety we felt about her care. Having once worked in the crème de la crème of local nursing homes, and seen some disturbing interactions between aides and patients, I came to the conclusion that any facility is only as loving as the staff on duty. As a dementia-care facility, every single employee at Brookdale Buckingham receives training in understanding and responding to the unique needs and perceptions of dementia patients. I visit our mom regularly and am always comforted to see the caring, patient interaction between staff and residents. Everyone seems aware and current about our mom's status and the staff’s doors are always open to my questions and concerns. Surprisingly, our mom has also thrived on being in a social environment rather than alone at home. While I can’t minimize the heart-wrenching nature of seeing our mom get increasingly lost into her disease, it is an enormous comfort to know that she is receiving the best care we could have imagined. Although the cost of Brookdale is higher than we will be able to manage long-term, we are comforted to know that we are giving her the best care for as long as possible.

Everything has worked out pretty well for my mother here at this community. This is a very nice community with friendly people. They do a good job with keeping the community and her room very well maintained. The staff is great. There are nice activities offered. She is pleased with the meals, the food is pretty good. I know she is safe and being cared for well. This is a community I would recommend.

My husband recently became a resident of the Brookdale Buckingham memory care facility. He has been cared for by loving, professional, and respectful staff - from the outstanding medical and personal care of nurses and nurse's aides, to the creative client activity team who keep mind and body engaged with fun, music, trips, exercise, art and other enrichment, to the talented chefs who produce nutritious and tasty food that meets many special needs, to hardworking housekeepers who keep the facility and rooms spotless with a smile. The committed administration team even lends a hand in caring for our loved ones - they know all the residents and interact regularly. Families are treated with kindness and patience; staff is always ready to hear and address concerns and even provide a shoulder to cry on when needed. Every person I have met and dealt with at Brookdale Buckingham is amazing. I truly believe that this extraordinary group of people view their work as a calling rather than just a job. Working together they make a home and family and a real difference in the lives they touch. I never would have believed that a place like this existed. It is amazing and I am grateful.

The whole process of getting in was a very smooth at Brookdale Cordova. The staff there are real friendly. I am really happy with this facility. I cant think of anything at this time to have them improve on.

The only thing I could say, and I'm not sure, I'm just hearing from my mom, she is just saying there is not a lot of variety with the food. If you are not happy with the options then there is not a lot of alternative choices.

They do an absolutely fabulous job at Emeritus at Buckingham Estates, and I would recommend them to anyone! The staff here is extraordinary! They're friendly, professional, and very proactive when it comes to care. They don't wait for things to happen, they suggest things to you that they think will improve your loved ones happiness and health. After having some experience at other communities what really impresses me here is how even the administrative staff get involved on a personal level with the residents, they obviously really care! The facility itself is clean and well kept, and the grounds are beautiful, it's like a garden! It's a small facility, all on one level, which was important to us due to Mom's limited mobility. I really couldn't be happier with the decision we made placing her here, and again I would highly recommend them to anyone!

The care that they provide has been excellent from day one, and I continue to be impressed each time I visit. The staff are friendly and professional, and they do a great job looking out for the residents. I highly recommend them!
