I just recently helped moved my elderly parents across the country (from the pacific northwest) into 3030 Park Ave/Watermark. Moving across the country is a monumental challenge for anyone - especially for senior citizens leaving their home of 49 years. [name removed] at Watermark was our point person and I believe was the primary reason the entire process was as smooth as it possibly could be. She was ALWAYS there for any question we had on anything and at any time. She always responded promptly, and always with kindness, compassion and patience - even when we asked the same questions over and over! The rest of the team at 3030 Park have been incredible as well - they unloaded their things and turned their apartment into an instant HOME for my parents. Due to all of the compassion and care that [name removed] and the 3030 Park team provides, my parents are settling in well and are as happy and healthy as they've ever been. I am so grateful.

My father passed away suddenly on [date removed], essentially leaving our Mother alone in the house we grew up in for 53 years. She was not able to maintain the house. We contacted the Watermark and worked primarily with [name removed] and then later with [name removed]. They were very thorough, compassionate, diligent, and detail oriented. They worked with me, my brothers and Mom as a team, which was really appreciated. There were flexible, patient, understanding and accomodating. So, far, after 2 months, the transition has gone very well for Mom, as good as could have been reasonably expected. The Watermark is very inviting and the staff and residents are respectful and welcoming. There are many different types of activities, so she is engaged when she wants to be, and has privacy as well when she wants it. The facility is well maintained, clean, and safe. The staff really care about the residents welfare - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Our Mom is happy, so we are too.

I would give The Watermark top scores on absolutely everything, they were wonderful. I absolutely loved everything that I saw during the tour, but unfortunately it was too expensive for us.

This truly is as good as it gets. I toured the community for my Dad. The Watermark had all the Covid precautions in place to make me feel safe and to ensure their residents felt safe. It truly is a community that has welcoming warm atmosphere with a great culture. The apartments are like no other community we saw. This community has the best fitness center we have seen from all of our tours, they have a pool!!!! Check them out, you will love it as much as we did

This community offers a nice variety of activities, they have a trivia night. They take the residents out on outings to different restaurant. They keep them pretty active and engage with each other. My father loves the food, its very well prepared, perfectly seasoned. They offer a great variety, great overall quality. We liked the common area it is very nice. The community is beautifully landscaped. The apartment is very spacious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful

The Watermark is a five star all the way. My Dad lives there in a gorgeous apartment with views of Long Island Sound. He is happy, he is safe and no matter what he needs i have peace of mind knowing that his needs are met. Thank you Watermark for giving my Dad a second lease on life.

My mother has been extremely happy here and the community itself is absolutely wonderful. She feels very safe and well taken care of here. The steps that they have taken to keep the residents safe during the Covid-19 pandemic have been amazing. The staff is absolutely wonderful to say the very least.

The facility was very nice. Up to date and clean. [Name removed] is a treasure. Pricing definitely gives a lot of options. There are a lot of amenities and having a heated salt water pool makes it even better.

The employees at the Watermark (East Hill) are truly amazing people and it's the employees that make this a special place. I took Mom on many visits to numerous retirement communities but we kept coming back to the Watermark at East Hill (5 visits in total) before making the commitment. Mom was uncertain, incredibly nervous and scared of the big change that she was agreeing too. But one very special person made all the difference. She had all the patience in the world, very soft spoken and always followed up with the needed information. She also had a keen eye in watching out for the residents. One day we had lunch together at the 2nd floor Cafe and while conversing she noticed that a resident wasn't walking quite right, she quickly ran from her chair in an attempt to keep an elderly gentleman from falling. She ran at least 100 feet but was not in time. She sat with him quietly on the floor while speaking calmly and confidently so as not to upset him any further. She assessed the situation and directed the staff to get immediate attention. The Watermark is a wonderful place and [name removed] is an awesome employee. She made Mom feel at home, at her new home away from home. For the first few months I heard from [name removed] often with updates and advice. As time went on and Mom adjusted I heard from [name removed] less often. These days I just see her in the halls and get a big smile. Thank You to [name removed] and the Watermark!

From the beginning and throughout our search everyone was extremely helpful here. We felt that we were very cared for and important to them. All our questions were answered sometimes multiple times. I feel my mother in law will be very happy and very well taken care of here. There is so much she enjoys doing; swimming, exercising and socializing! She will enjoy it all here. She likes good food but doesn’t like to cook so this is the best place for her. She can still keep her independence but will be safe.

Hard place to be in when loved one needs to leave a home after many years , but Allen couldn't have been more helpful making this transition seamless . My mom is doing great in her home and is starting to make new friends.

This is a fabulous place! My loved one was here briefly for skilled nursing care, and they did an excellent job. He really felt spoiled here! The food was fantastic, the staff were friendly and professional, and the rooms were great.

Spent the better part of a day here, to tour and experience the environment, see how the current residents respond with different nurses, events, and times of day. I was thoroughly impressed. From the unique family-style concept to the highly individualized care, with lots of personalized attention for each resident...it feels like you're hanging out at your grandma's house, complete with grandpa snoozing on the couch after a delicious lunch (cooked on-site, eaten family-style alongside the nurses - called "Nayas" - who are clearly well-trained and professional, but feel more like friends/companions than nurses). One resident wanted to go outside because it was sunny (it was 32F) - rather than simply telling her, "no, it's too cold," the Naya said it was very cold, then opened the door to the patio and let her go outside for a few minutes, waiting nearby to let her back in when she was ready. End result: The resident felt respected, independent, and safe, rather than rejected, helpless and depressed. One moment made all the difference in her day...and in memory care, isn't that what matters? I'm crossing my fingers we can get Mom moved in!

Brand new, super clean, bright, well laid-out, feels comfortable...like a family home. Residents are not treated like patients, more like family (eats meals family-style at two large tables, even meds are only given in private room, so there's no feeling of a nursing home). Nurses ('nayas') do everything involved in the care of residents: cook, clean, laundry, etc - extremely patient and loving, physically reassuring (hugs, etc) when residents get agitated. Very welcoming, cozy space. All levels of dementia, so not a lot of group activities...but Nayas work with residents one-on-one, or sometimes in smaller groups. I think Mom would feel safe, comfortable and happy here.

The Watermark At East Hill is an outstanding place to live! My Mother moved here and we were worried about the transition as well as her acclimating. She has so much to do and adores all of the friendly and caring staff that she has already recommended a couple friends to move as well. I cant thank the staff and dedicated care takers for accommodating with Mother. The culture and atmosphere is amazing. It is eminent that the people in the community care and love the residents. The sales people made it a comfortable and easy transition so Mom felt right at home when she moved in. Maintenance has been a delight and is always there when you need something. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a loved one or even yourself.

The Watermark at East Hill was a good choice for my loved one and I. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and so are the other residents. We have made many new friends. The community offers a variety of activities, we like to go to the gym 3 times a week. The meals are good, the portions are always different. Sometimes they have very large portions and sometimes not so much. We would recommend this place to a friend because we're happy here so far.
