The Nursing staff (one Nurse in particular) was rude, condescending, unprofessional, and a real pain to work with.

I am a resident here at Salterra at Las Vegas. What I love about the place is the caring and capable staff, top to bottom! The Food here is good, I love eating outside the courtyard, one of my favorite things to here and there’s plenty to do such as happy hours, weekly live entertainment, beautiful courtyard and all day dining. Everyone here is nice and friendly. Wellness is great!

We like that it was single story and their unit also has an exit to the outside. It's smaller and is more personable to the other residents and staff.

What a great facility. We made a quick decision to move our Mom there. They seem to really understand the needs of the residents and the families!

The staff are truly there for you at every turn. We are in a 1200 square foot apartment that has been completely remodeled, very nice.

5 hands down. They should be given an award for friendliest, caring company in Las Vegas. Their sales director answered all of our questions. The business manager Britt explained billing. The activities director [name removed] comforted us with best place to be for our loved one starting the new journey. Every nurse passing in hallways smile and it starts with [name removed] the greeter at the front desk. [name removed] at A Place For Mom gave Salterra a great recommendation that proved to be true

It is month to month (a big plus, I thought, so we don't feel trapped if we were to decide we made a mistake, but we don't think that and already consider this to be our home). WT is strictly independent living unless you hire care from a company that is not affiliated, which I understand 10 to 12 folks do at the moment. (Other Leisure Care facilities have also a choice of care levels.) There are lots of variations on walkers and walking sticks, and one small motorized ride-on scooter in use, which is acceptable here. There are several folks just one side or the other of 100 years old who have lived here for 10 to 20 years. Generally speaking, the residents are cheerful and sociable and very understanding and encouraging with each other, and very welcoming to new residents. The staff is not afraid to make fools of themselves in silly competitions about once a month (during some monthly party) to entertain all of us. Lots of laughter! Whoever comes up with the competitions is very creative. We just had a first-ever art show of a wide variety of resident work that was displayed for a full weekend and widely attended and created a number of new friendships and lots of conversation and appreciation for the unexpected talents. We are located immediately uphill from a great community senior center, and for any WT resident that wishes to use the Sr Ctr, WT pays for its annual fee. I just attended my first Spanish class, which I loved. There is a paved path around WT's building which is 1/3 mile, and many use it for daily walks. The ground floor is pet friendly, so several have dogs, and at least a couple have cats. The pets don't roam the corridors, but do go out with their owners. The food is quite good. The chef sees to it there are always some standbys, as well as new things to try. I have liked everything I have had, and found the dining crew to be very helpful, cheerful, and are always willing to make suggestions or adjustments: there is a lot of flex in the offerings, as needed. There is assigned parking for those with cars but no covered parking. Between WT and the Senior Center there is a fair amount of opportunity for transportation provided for those who don't drive. There are a variety of scheduled types of games (from cards to crafts to bean bag baseball and group word games) and also several types of exercise classes: chair yoga, balance classes, etc., and concerts, monthly birthday nights with special menus and desserts, and more. Are we happy here? Very!

At the entrance to the building was a personalized Welcome sign. The property was clean, calm, and peaceful.

The meeting with Rianna and tour went well. The residence was clean and the common areas were furnished nicely. There were more residents in the common areas at this facility than any other. It could have been time and the fact it was St. Patrick’s day, but all seemed to be having fun, enjoying the festivities. The apartments were nice, but in all honesty, apartments varied little from facility to facility. Overall, it would definitely be a place to consider for my mother.

They have so many activities for the residence. A private dining room if you want to have lunch or dinner with family members. Activities galore.

Beautiful setting. Spacious rooms, plenty of activities, close to shopping, friendly staff and residents. I would definitely consider staying in independent living here.

My daughter, son and I toured the facility and they provided us with lunch during our visit. We were very impressed with the facility, the delicious food and the professional and knowledgeable staff and management. The facility is beautiful, very clean, nicely decorated and well maintained. It has a very pretty, beautifully landscaped open courtyard with two fountains and two small ponds. The rooms in the apartments have two fairly large closets and nice cabinet spaces in the kitchen and bathroom. The apartment I leased has a fairly large bedroom and bathroom and thermostats in the living room & bedroom that can be controlled by the tenant. The shower is large with a built in padded shower bench. The apartment also has a private, sheltered patio with a gate that opens onto a walking path and a nature area across from it. We were impressed to learn that there is a nurse on staff. The lobby, dining and activities rooms are bright and welcoming. We were very pleased & impressed by all.

The staff are "top drawer", the meals are very good, my apartment is very comfortable, and the residents are friendly and we all go by first names. All makes for a community feeling.

The staff are very friendly and address all the residents by name. They have lots of activities for people to join in and both the residents and staff stay positive as new people are learning how the activities work.

Staff is amazing and assisted living care is excellent. Their communication with us when my father in law was ill was great. There are some employees who have been there for 15+ years which says a lot. They really care about the residents and consider them family. Activities coordinator is amazing and there is so much to be involved with; they really create a sense of community. The residents care for each other deeply. Compared to other one bedrooms in other communities the size of the apartment is by far the largest I found and has an excellent functional floor plan. We loved Fairwinds... unfortunately my father in law recently passed away after an illness but I would highly recommend it and for the price it is really unmatched.

Facility keeps Residents active and involved. Food served is a nice variety. Place is kept clean and sanitized. Residents are active. I have not been getting monthly activities like I use too.

Magnificent staff. Residents appeared the happiest I’ve ever seen in similar buildings. Sample lunch was excellent. I was given a complete tour of the building and residence size suited to my level of interest.

The person who handled our visit was very warm and supportive. He took time getting to know my mom and what her needs were for my stepdad, which is a sensitive topic. The facility was great - very warm and inviting, with a beautiful menu and a nice array of activities - it was a great experience!

The residents want to help the newcomers feel welcome. There is a sense of community involving staff and residents. I also feel the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate the needs of the residents. For folks on a fixed income, this is like paradise

The activities seem nice, however my father doesn't partake so I have no feedback The staff is always amazing everyone I go to visit The facility is constantly clean and being kept up by the cleaning staff My fathers room tidied by them as well I haven't eaten the food, it always smells delicious. My fathers only complaint is the vegetables (some people never learn to eat their veggies ha) My fathers is in a companion suite, so technically a 2 bedroom It is very spacious and still gives him a feeling of home vs having just one room available to him Overall my siblings and I are very happy with Salterra and would recommend them to anyone looking for their loved one as well.
