[Name Removed] did an outstanding job with a thorough and thoughtful tour. Before starting she let us talk about our needs and expectations. The overall feel of the facility was competent and efficient, but also very open and cheerful. We were able to view an occupied apartment to see how real people live. Dining options were impressive. The food was delicious and hot. Impressively there is a guest apartment modestly priced for family or friends who visit.

Off hours place was under staffed, and did not communicate properly.

The staff treated Mom like family. When she went into the hospital and then into the nursing home, they called often to ask how she was doing. We were very disappointed when she wasn't able to return to Volante, it truly was like being at home for Mom

Tough to get any quick response from administration. Seems to have a relatively high staff turnover. Nurse care seems good & meals are great.

Every thing has gone smoothly. The staff have been great, seem to have concern for their clients. The have been very helpful. The facility is clean and well maintained. The only unknown was the fact they are in the midst of a bankruptcy.

My husband and I toured Salterra with my parents - as well as another assisted living facility recently. They chose Salterra as my mom felt more comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and genuine. The apartments are well kept and the layout very nice.

I visited Salterra without foregone opinion. From the time I entered Salterra I was met with smiles and open friendly openness. The entire building was super clean and quiet. The dining room was quite inviting. I am looking forward to using the therapy lab.

Super friendly and not pushy at all!!! Definitely a top contender for my mom. Looking forward to taking her for a visit

Very good experience. We were in Portland visiting family and stopped by while in the neighborhood. Were very impressed with the facility, but are still undecided about moving to Portland area.

Salterra is a step above. The staff are authentically enthusiastic. It’s clear they care about the residents by how they interact with them and with the families. When mom checked in by the end of her first day she had multiple friends and knew some of the staff by name. Clean. Well maintained. Fresh. Those are words to describe the facility. The food was outstanding.

The community is light & bright, clean and buzzing with activity! The food is delish and the people are warm and friendly. Highly recommended!

Very friendly, felt very hospitable when we entered the facility. Answered all of our questions and gave us their personal telephone numbers to call them if we have or had any questions.

The staff has been good, I hear the food is good, very nice people. They have been quick to show up if there is an issue. Apt is ample size. Area is quiet.

The staff is really good. My mom is always bored. I wish they could get her more activities. But I don't know if it's her or them. Food is excellent. Very clean and big rooms. The staff is excellent when I was nervous about putting her in there. [names removed], when they're there, they make my day and knowing my mom's an awesome care.

It was wonderful and [name removed] is the best person you could have there I wish I could afford living there.

[name removed] was very knowledgeable about the facility and was able to answer my questions as well as show me multiple apartments. Would recommend this independent living community to others

I can’t say enough positive things about this facility and how we were treated. I wish My aunt could go there. But finances are dictating our direction. I would highly recommend this place,
