It is a one year old facility, very modern and beautifully appointed. The dining room serves good food with variety. My 91 year old mother seems happy and is enjoying having many activities to choose from. The staff is friendly and attentive.

All 5s. We were very satisfied. she passed and is no longer there but what that's the part that matters. She was there such a short time and they helped facilitate all of the hospital runs & emergent care there. Only thing that they could work on better is communicating, it was hard at times to get a hold of someone in order to connect with her. She had Alzheimer's and would not answer her phone a lot so we would try to call the front desk and they said they were trying to send us to the nursing staff but every time we called it went to voicemail and we never heard from anyone. No one ever answered the phone and that was frustrating

From the moment we walked into Caretta Maplewood, it felt different. The community is bright and welcoming, unlike many others we toured. Of the four places we visited, the apartments were by far the best laid out, which gave us peace of mind as our mom downsizes from a large home. The atmosphere and the staff are cheerful and inviting, not dark and dingy like so many others we saw. We truly feel confident this is the place where Mom will be happy.

I have recommended Talamore memory care to everyone who brings the subject up...They learn to know their residents very quickly and work with them to make sure they are comfortable. One of few memory care places that actually allow residents to go out in the garden since the wall is windows and they can see/monitor them. Family is also felt very welcome and valued.

Hi-5 for all categories! It was really the very best place for mom at a very difficult time! She was really too ill & weak to truly enjoy all the benefits of Talamore, but we, the family are forever grateful for all of it!!

A few things that stand out is it is very clean, there are a lot of activities and friendly people. The food is very good. The location is great - close to shopping. Apartment size is adequate.

Would definitely recommend Talamore to others needing assisted living accommodations. Very professional, very personable, very conscientious. Services are very good.

My parents have been living at Talamore for about a month and they are enjoying their shared 1 bedroom, 1 den apartment, the activities, and the meals. I really like the bright, open, modern lobby and community areas, and that there are so many opportunities for my mom and dad to connect with other seniors and have social activities. The one drawback that they have reported is waiting a long time for meals - since they are served sit-down restaurant style with servers, and it seems they are short-staffed in the dining area. Overall, I am happy they are there - and they are doing well getting settled and welcomed in.

The building is beautiful and new. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food served is healthy and the choices are varied. [name removed] was so helpful when my daughter and I visited Talamore for the first time. He took his time with us and showed us the amenities and choices available for apartments. [name removed] is a true asset to Talamore and continues to check on our needs as we move from independent living to assisted living.

What we like the most about Talamore Woodbury is the New construction. Contemporary upscale décor. Safe areas to walk. Friendly residents. On site activities and services. Great chef! Food is fantastic. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Right from the 1st day the staff and residents were very helpful and friendly. Made sure that Mom felt at home. The facility is very modern, with all of the fun activities it's like being on a cruise ship.

They are very organized and have some many options for activities, etc. She is in independent living and it's plenty big enough… They offer cleaning services, etc. and there's lots of activities from movies to bingo to bridge to outings, etc.

Every person’s worst nightmare is having a loved one need to move away from home. Touring choices was depressing until Talamore turned out to be my “pot of gold” at the end of a dark rainbow. At Talamore, memory care was just what I was looking for. I walked into a bright cheery area where staff were welcoming but also the residents - folks who were not “drugged happy” but genuinely happy to be living there. We returned the next day and [name removed] was excited about moving in. My husband has now lived at Talamore for over five months- he’s content and I am pleased with his care. Activity directors have a varied daily activity plan and are enthusiastic and familiar with each resident. Everything is positive and inclusive. Food quality and variety is also a highlight of Talamore. I hope when families are looking for a healthy and happy place for their loved one, they check out Talamore. It has been a God-sent answer to face the necessity of my husband living away from home contentedly.

I toured Talamore and absolutely loved it. When you look at places to spend your time there are often immediate reactions. This one was a wow! The apartments were so fresh and light that I immediately felt at home. I felt comfortable and safe in this space. Feeling safe even in a first-floor apartment for me was a first. I knew instantly that I would be happy here. Everyone was friendly and attentive. I encourage you to visit.

I met with [name removed] and we had a nice conversation about Talamore. He was very friendly and helpful with my questions. I was there because I was possibly looking to move my mother from another senior facility. We decided to keep her there, because she wasn't wanting to move at her age. She is 98! I wish we had looked at Talamore before making the original move we did with her. It is truly a beautiful place! Thank you [name removed], for the conversation and the tour!

We are so thankful for the help of A Place For Mom in finding Talamore for us. We have nothing but praise for the staff, care and peace of mind knowing how smooth everything was and that she was always in good hands. The communication was wonderful.

I would give Talamore a 5 in all categories-at least to the best of my knowledge. For instance, we had little interaction with admin staff, but everyone seemed nice. The food was exceptional, delicious from my perspective but my mom ( the actual resident) complained. Maybe it was a little fancy for older midwestern palates. But they did have options. The setting was beautiful; cost of care was high, but completely comparable to other to communities. I was actually shocked that the rates were not higher once I was more aware of this particular market. The care was the most exceptional aspect of Talamore. The nurses, assistants & other medical professionals were always kind & respectful and seemed to love my mom. I observed all staff in all areas ( food service, reception etc.) would go out of their way to help, check on, greet, socialize etc. with residents & families. My mom died last week, and we have no regrets about her care during those last days. They kept her comfortable and peaceful, & helped us navigate this time. Staff also worked seamlessly with hospice . If I could rate Talamore higher, I would!

I have referred a few friends and colleagues to NorBella because everyone does a great job caring for the residents!! [name removed] is an amazing Director of Activities, [name removed] is so friendly and [name removed] the RN is so sweet. They all care so much and know every resident and treat them like family.

I reside in the "independent living" wing of this facility. The staff meets my expectations (at times actually exceeds them).

I would say I made the right choice for me. I would recommend to others. It just felt right
