Grace Living PCH of Marietta

The facility is more like a family home. Six or so residents, smaller, more individulzed feel. Don't ge lost in the suffle like at a larer facility. But there's one person in charge of everybody, but she does go to sleep at night. It's locked, with an alarm on the door. They weren't equipped for our family member, but I don't fault them for it. He just needed a more secure area. He could still get out, despite that lock. And it was really disruptive tot everybody at night. He just needed 24 hr secure area. They did a really great job. Everybody ws relaly freindly and they did try to work with us.

Golden Rose was an absolute blessing. We were so lucky to find this loving home for our father. We consider them family now. Our father was there for two years up until his passing this past weekend due to old age. He loved everyone that cared for him and it truly felt like such a blessing that he was there. They were thoughtful about really getting to know and care for our father. They encouraged his health when he didn't want to and genuinely was present for him. Whenever we picked him up whether for a family gathering or a doctor appointment etc he was always ready to get back home to Golden Rose. Truly this was such a blessing. Thank you to the family and team that cared for our father.

The is is an outstanding community for care. The staff is goes above and beyond for the care that is received by the residents. The meals are appealing and a excellent variety. The activities are wonderful. She likes everything seems to have fun. This is a location that is close so that I can visit my mom more often.

Everything is great here so far. I have not had to complain. The community is very clean and my father in law is getting healthy because he likes the food. The only thing that I would improve on would be the activities. They do not have anything for the residents to do. I feel they should be more active.

After 2 assisted living facilities within 1 year....I finally found Grace Living that delivers on what they promise. Finding a care facility to care for a man at age 59 with Frontal temporal dementia was a very difficult and a daunting task. After prayer I found Grace Living and it was an answered prayer. I am no longer called at 2 am or 3am asking me to come to the facility as they are equipped to handle my loved one. believe me I was exhausted and had run out of options. Thank you for caring for my loved one when no one else could but also for giving me rest and a piece of mind.

My Dad has dementia and has been a resident since October 2014. When he first arrived emaciated and weak from a nursing home he could not even stand up by himself and within two months he was walking on his own again and picking up weight. Their primary caregiver Marcie is a blessing and loves him and the other residents like her own family and goes out of her way to make each day special and to bring a smile to their face. I can't praise Marcie and Grace Living high enough, they've given my Dad back to me.

We moved Dad to Brittany House at 5828 Holly Springs Rd. Marietta. Everyone there was extremely helpful. I always go with my feelings when I visit a place where my Dad will live. He has a big room to himself with a full bathroom. I felt very comfortable having Dad live there. Esther and Diane were especially welcoming. The 1st night Dad slept form 6pm and woke up at 9:30 on his own. It was probably the 1st time in 3years that he slept in. He is going to be fine there.By the way, Dad is 97. There are not of activities but my Dad is 97 and would not participate anyway.

Staff is very caring, friendly and attentive. My mom is quite happy at Golden Rose. Great meals, very clean and engaging environment. They are consistently updating and improving the already great services they provide! I am so thankful to my Senior Advisor [name removed] for her caring and guidance throughout the difficult process of finding quality care for my mom! Golden Rose has become my new family!

My mother in law is currently on hospice here at this community. They are providing her with good care. We know she is safe, and in a good place. It has been a very good experience. They have a great staff, and they have been great to work with. This is a community I would recommend. Everything is working out well.

My Mom spent the last few weeks of her life at Brittany House and I am so grateful. I had promised My Mom I would never put her in a nursing home and I was able to keep that promise. Ester is extremely caring and Betton (caregiver) was so great. They obviously have a gift and a loving heart for the elderly. I was able to feel ok about where Mom was staying and that she was being very well taken care of. Mom was not there for a very long time but I feel long enough to say that Ester and her husband are good people and they do care about the elderly.

What we like the most about the community is that it is very clean and doesn't look like a hospital. It is more home like. There are also 3 areas to visit with our loved ones including a sun room. Yes, we would recommend Grace Living community to other families based on the experience.

I really like that the community doesn't seem institutional, or a corporate safe environment. It's more like a home. And that it is small. An individual care can be provided.

My mother is a resident at Beehive Homes of Woodstock. We have been pleased with the staff and the accommodations at Beehive. The move-in process was easy and my mother seems happy there. We would recommend Beehive to others.

It is a great community. It seemed most of the residents were memory care. My dad had all of his mental faculties, but his body was completely weakened. He needed the level of physical assistance they provided. Being a smaller facility allowed them to know my dad and his specific needs better.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community is reasonably priced, clean, and it has a relatively good staff. It would be good to have a nurse or medical person of some degree to evaluate each resident each day.

I felt like the woman who took care of my loved one was very good. I thought she did a fine job. I liked the staff and they never made me feel unwelcome. I felt like they tried to give her the best care possible. Whenever my mom needed help, they were quick to respond. Overall, I was very happy with the experience.

It is not the best personal care home that I have been to visit but is a good quality for the money. There has been a personality conflict with the livein caretaker. She can be a bit harsh in her communication with the residents. There does not seem to be any activities except for TV. I would like to see a greater variety of food including some fresh fruits and salad choices. Also not much for snacks just vanilla wafers. Over all for the amount charged it is ok. My friend seems much happier there than in a nursing home. She has no family support and limited funds available. She says it is her home and loves the big open sitting room.

very nice. there was an odor of paint as they are painting some rooms. very large sitting room. and nice size bedroom. a possibility.
