I've been here a little while now, and I'm glad I made the move. [name removed] has been wonderful and always takes the time to check in on everyone. One of my favorite things is being able to walk around the community and enjoy getting out each day. The people are friendly, and it feels like home.

We recently toured the Independent Living community at Elmwood with [name removed] and had a great experience. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of our questions without making us feel pressured. The property is nice. While it’s an older community, it’s clear they’re making a lot of improvements. Overall, we left with a very positive impression. We’re still visiting a few communities before making a final decision, but Elmwood is definitely one of our front-runners. We would recommend taking a tour if you’re looking for senior living in the area.

We recently toured the Independent Living community at Elmwood with my mom, and we were very impressed. The staff was welcoming, answered all of our questions, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. After our tour, my mom decided Elmwood was the right place for her, and she’ll be moving in within the next 30 days. We also attended the 4th of July BBQ, and it was so much fun! The live music created a great atmosphere, the food was excellent, and the ribs were absolutely delicious. What stood out the most was how friendly and welcoming the residents were. Seeing everyone enjoying themselves made my mom even more excited about becoming part of the community.

I’ve been living in Assisted Living at Elmwood for over a year, and it just keeps getting better. The Wellness Director is incredibly responsive and always takes the time to listen and help with anything I need. Because it’s a smaller building, it feels more personal, and the staff really gets to know the residents. I was able to bring my cat with me, which has made a huge difference in feeling at home. The recent remodeling has really brightened up the community, and it’s been nice to see all of the improvements. I’m very happy here and would definitely recommend Elmwood to anyone looking for a caring and welcoming assisted living community.

My spouse and I have been living at Elmwood for about seven months, and we’ve really enjoyed being part of the community. We chose a two-bedroom deluxe apartment, and it’s been a great fit for us. The patio is perfect for our small dogs, and we love being able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. The community feels friendly and safe, and the maintenance team is always willing to help whenever something comes up. The food is average overall, but they do a great job with special events like BBQs and holiday meals, which are always enjoyable. We’re happy we made the move and would recommend Elmwood to others looking for a welcoming senior living community.

Moving to Elmwood has been a positive experience. I’ve been here for about three months, and it’s already starting to feel like home. The move-in process was simple, and the sales team made everything easy to understand without any pressure. I'm telling everybody I know about independent living here at elmwood. I never even knew this existed. I hate vacuuming. I hate doing dishes. I hate cleaning. They do it all and the food's good too. So what more can you ask for yeah, you still get to do anything you want. But they take care of it's a win when here at elmwood pictures to come. When I'm ready, they're almost done with my big apartment, yes 2 bathrooms and one bedroom. It's huge, no more fighting over who gets the toilet. We each have our own. Showing us my wife and I a number of homes in the area and we would like to thank her so very much for taking her time to stay with us and explain things that we didn't know about Patriot heights we thank you so very much and wish that this to go to corporate that she is well worth the money that she's making and she does deserve a little more she goes way out of the way to help people thank you [name removed] and God bless you and take care of the families over there in in The Patriot heights amen . What stood out the most is the staff is caring and seem to know their residents well. I would recommend this community to others who are currently searching for a place.

They work with you, they treat you like family, their transportation services are great

This was such a good place! Staff are friendly and a beautiful campus! Very cost effective and has many different floor plan options. The dinning services is really good and puts out good quality with options. Transportation is always going and able to take you places.

Overall, we are very satisfied with Patriot Heights in San Antonio. Kitchen staff could be better trained. Numerous activities for residence to keep busy. Physical therapy available on site. Live entertainment every Friday afternoon. Staff is very friendly and helpful

Gated community with 24 hour guard which also serves as the life alert responder. Have a consistent Friday Happy Hour where all the residents get together and hang out. Great Physical and Occupational Therapy

What we like the most about Katella Senior Living is that it is comfortable, quiet and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this community to other families, and already have!

The facility consistently provides exceptional care with a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Staff are attentive and compassionate, offering personalized care plans and engaging activities that help residents maintain their quality of life while feeling supported, valued and not alone.

My father chose this location due to it being close to their home so he could visit often. The staff were extremely competent, caring, patient and compassionate.

For the most part the staff is pretty helpful and available. The amenities are great as they are all included , apartment sizes are great too.
