[name removed], the facility manager, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She spent time initially getting an idea of my mother's living needs at present and as her Alzheimer's progresses. I am specifically looking for facilities that can transition from assisted to memory care. Centennial House fit this criteria. It is in a quiet neighborhood and in good state of maintenance and repair.

We highly recommend Ecumen Prairie Lodge. The consultant that I met with, [name removed], was fantastic! Very friendly and willing to help me in any way she could. The facility was clean, and had a nice set up in its floor plan. It had a welcoming family style atmosphere. It's a one floor cottage style setting with dining area for a smaller group of residents and family. That makes it look very nice for a family that wants to relax in a quieter setting. The residents that I saw, seemed to be very happy there. And they greeted [name removed] like she was their family. I would highly recommend this home for anyone that is looking for an affordable, very lovely place to stay. Also...If we would have made our decision for my father-in-law, based solely on the kindness of [name removed] in this tour...this place would have won! Hands down...She is great!

Most transparent of any place I visited. Everyone very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was gonna leave you drowning and regret. It’s not worth compromising. That’s why.

After being here only a week the director asked me how I liked it here? I said I don't like it here l love it here!! I like that most of the staff knew our names on a first name basis. It definitely is a nice community, we have pretty much everything we need here! I would recommend Ecumen Apple Valley to anyone!!!

Very good people who run it are helpful and friendly food is only ok though but otherwise clean quiet and every store you might need is close. they also have a weekly shopping on a handicap bus. nice place to live. careful of the price though.

The staff is terrific, the food is very good, and the building and units are the best I've seen. I would recommend the community to others!

Very good tour! She explained everything that they have. Looks like a very comfortable place to live. I explained that I already have a place reserved for my son but he has not had an accessment as of today. So it all depends on how that goes.

The facility itself was lovely. We did not decide to move Mom to this facility because the individual units did not have carpeting on the floor. This can be good or bad, depending on your needs for your parent. For us, it would not work.

We were very impressed by everything we saw and heard. This place was filled with activities and things to do. This was our first experience touring an assisted living facility and we had all our questions answered. The place was very clean and the rooms we saw were spacious and nicely laid out.

They worked with me to resolve several issues. I would recommend.

We like it. Staff is great. I would recommend.

The facility has a very homey feel & the residents and staff have been very welcoming. There are a variety of different room layouts, some bigger than others. My mom's rooms are a bit smaller, but with her furniture, it's cozy and not too small. She misses having an ice maker and garbage disposal, but loves the washer/dryer in her apt.

After touring multiple facilities over two and a half years, I finally discovered Abiitan in downtown Minneapolis. Although it was built roughly eight years ago, it looks and feels brand new. The shared areas are spotless, the units are large and filled with natural light. My mother turned down at least a dozen other places we explored before she fell in love with Abiitan. The staff has exceeded expectations in every way. Their patience and their friendliness was the only way we could have successfully made this move. The free, underground visitor parking has made visits very easy, the nearby coffee shops and restaurants have been great to explore. Lastly, the extraordinarily inexpensive food plan has been a godsend. Having delicious lunches and dinners delivered directly to her room daily from the restaurant on the first floor has been a great relief. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend Abiitan for anyone exploring senior living options for their loved ones.

everything is good staff is excellent no complaints at all! every store you might need is close. I would highly recommend Ecumen Seasons at Maplewood community to other families based on my experience

They are wonderful!! They had a spot available. They had what we were looking for. The staff and residents are very friendly, helpful, and nice.

Abiitan is an amazing community. My dad has a complexity of clinical needs, and the staff at Abbott has relentlessly coordinated with me to best serve him. Also, great location! For anyone who's looking to continue to engage with big city life and culture, in their golden years.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Answer questions thoroughly. Lots of activities for people, apartments are large. They have coffee morning meetings ups, washers and dryers in each floor for those who don't have them in their apartments. Mail and package delivery is great plus a secure entrance.
