The room size is great. The staff is wonderful. The food is improving. I would recommend the community to others who are searching for one. I'm happy here. And enjoying life in my apartment here. They just need to come visit here.

Awesome admin staff, always clean, doesn't "feel" like a nursing home at all, good food, staff is very accommodating.

Everyone is friendly and accommodating with my brother. They are very responsive. The food and cleaning staff are excellent. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for a community.

Our situation is not unique; you are probably experiencing a similar series of events and challenges. We have a set of parents that needs support and help beyond what we can give on a daily and sometimes hourly basis. After trying other facilities and being disappointed on a number of levels, we landed at StoryPoint. From day 1 when we toured the facility, to transitioning from independent to assisted living, the StoryPoint team led by the Site Director has been a very competent and compassionate extension of us as a family. The facility is very clean and well run. They support their staff and have a tremendous loyalty to the team that works there as demonstrated by the high employee retention rates. This is important as we appreciate the stability and service continuity. StoryPoint invests their resources in the right areas. The safety of their residents along with the food and facilities that the residents enjoy are the focus of their business. We highly recommend StoryPoint.

I have been at STORYPOINT Prospect since early January 2026 and find it to be warm , authentic and professional. The Staff members are passionate about their responsibilities. The support structure of nursing, caregivers ,chefs, waitresses and waiters is wonderful. I have been blessed and have a family that did research and found me a real “community” that is my new home.

I have been a resident here since October and have met many wonderful Residents and staff members! The facility is always available for upcoming issues and I look forward to continuing to participate in facility events.

Great communication and staff. Always ready to help my dad and answer questions and the facility is always very clean. Best decision was moving my Dad to Danbury Senior living, highly recommend!

We loved the private, comfortable, and well maintained apartments. The food and nursing staff were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The setting of the facility inside a subdivision made for a peaceful environment. There were birds, kids playing, and several paths for walking and enjoying the outdoors. It's not located on a busy street in the middle of retail shopping like many other facilities.

This facility has had a recent update with new carpet, new bathroom flooring, updated decor. Always clean and tidy. Friendly caring staff, all staff are welcoming and kind. Fun activities, live music, Zumba classes. Community events throughout the year, yummy food and caring staff. Best place in Swartz Creek.

My dad really enjoyed his respite stay at Independence Village. The staff is extremely attentive and caring. There are a lot of activities for the residents and my dad loved the variety in the meals provided.

The building was clean and updated. The employees greeted me quickly and professionally. The residents were engaged in an activity. The dining area was cozy and well lit. The community is tucked back off the road in a quiet natural setting. Several of the employees brought their golden retrievers to work for the residents to enjoy.

The building is only 7 years old and very nice inside. You could call it upscale. The staff is very accommodating. The room is spacious and the food is well prepared by Chef [name removed].

My aunt has lived at Independence Village in Ankeny for almost two years. After a short adjustment period, she has settled in. She has gotten to know the staff & they have gotten to know her. I'm most impressed with the sincere care given to each individual by the entire staff. The caregivers see each resident several times throughout the day. Early this year, when a health issue arose, the nurse was notified. She notified me right away. Her guidance was thoughtful, knowledgeable & helpful beyond measure. The cleaning & maintenance staff work together. The apartments & building are clean. The chef is attentive to the residents. Meals are delicious & served with polite care. The residents are treated to a "food tasting" as seasonal menus change. The activities are plentiful & tailored to the residents interests. The receptionist & administrative staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful & caring. My aunt is living comfortably & safely. Our experience has been good.

Our Mom has lived here for 6 months. She came from another memory care facility. Independence Village has been a nice change. More staff regularly. [names removed] are caring, understanding, and compassionat CNA's. [name removed], the director is approachable and helpful.

Story Point is wonderful! The staff is great-- caring, hard working, lots of activity for the memory care unit. Please recommend it to folks!! The only reason we moved to [community removed] was that they raised our monthly rate $[removed] which was not in accordance with our contract, which allowed a 13% increase yearly. That should have been no more than $[removed].

Super friendly atmosphere, no complaints. Very good food. Clean dining room. Lots of activities. Again, no complaints. Very good staff, super helpful, always friendly. Everyone is ready and willing to help at anytime. Severs are very nice.

I was apprehensive originally, but it has been so easy to adjust, the staff and other residents make it easy! Staff is very helpful and kind. I’ve gone to various staff for various reasons and always got good responses from them. They do not make you feel small, no feelings of one person higher than the other. Never asked a question that wasn’t answered, which made it very comfortable and smooth. Very very extraordinarily pleased with my new home.

Enjoy visiting my mother in law at the facility. She gets great care. She’s been there for about three years and has enjoyed it. Everyone is friendly to her and calls her by name. Anytime there is a maintenance issue or something wrong. It’s always addressed efficiently.

My parents are 89 years old and have moved from Florida, where they lived for 23 years to Flourish Collection Rochester. It seems like there was some growing pains with new ownership, once they had put the right people in place it has been very smooth. Eveyone from the front desk, care givers, wait staff, coordinators and upper management have treated our family with respect and kindness. My mother and father love it there after only 2 months.
