About the facility The Tallcorn
Built as an elegant luxury hotel in 1928, The Tallcorn is now a CommonBond Community of senior living apartments. CommonBond offers affordable housing options in the tri-state area of Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The Tallcorn is located in the vibrant city of Marshalltown, Iowa. Located along the Iowa River, Marshalltown boasts an historic downtown area, multiple historical mansions and other buildings open for tours, parks, a hiking/biking trail, farmers markets and fairs, and more. The Tallcorn is conveniently close to medical centers, shopping, and dining.
The Tallcorn features wide open hallways for easy navigation, and 49 one- and two-bedroom urban loft apartments, each with a fully equipped private kitchen and hookups for laundry appliances. The Tallcorn also has many common areas, including a dining room with beautiful crown molding and high windows, an internet computer lab, a library, and craft and fitness rooms.
