Felt comfortable from the beginning!
When I brought Dad, the staff came out to the vehicle and helped us get moved in. They knew what we were going through and talked us all the way through it. The house was warm and comfortable, I felt at ease leaving Dad there. Way easier than expected! The staff was there to help with whatever we needed. The coordinator that came to the house was excellent also, we knew exactly what we were getting into. Communication was great, text messages were responded to quickly. I don't have any complaints. This facility was the help we needed and a great place for Dad. I would recommend this facility to family and friends, for sure!
About the facility Stratford Home
Stratford Home is a home plus facility located on the East side of Wichita, Ks. The home, itself, was built in 1964 in a quiet community located near several ammenties. The facility was remodeled in 2011 to accomodate the needs of elderly persons seeking a home-like atmosphere and help with daily activities. The facility officially opened in May of 2011 and can house six live-in residents and six adult daycare residents. Currently, Stratford Home is not part of a chain but independently owned. 24-hour licensed staff are available to help with any task an elderly person may have trouble doing alone. The mission of Stratford Home is to provide safe and efficient patient-centered care while attaining respect and dignity for each resident. The smaller setting at Stratford Home allows patients to receive more individualized care while also creating a 'family' like atmosphere for not only residents but for staff and family members as well.

[name removed] and her team over at Stratford Home are simply THE BEST! I’ve never met a team with such compassion that are genuinely there to help people in need! Her home is beautiful. Her staff is amazing. They have fun activities and good food! Highly recommended!!!

Great Smaller Community
I would recommend this community. It is nice since it is a smaller setting, than a bigger community. This was good for my loved one. My loved one fits here better, as this is more of a home environment.

Outstanding place
Stratford Home is a dream facility for mom/dad, it is welcoming and a very friendly environment. The staff is well trained on dementia and ahlzimers. They take really good care of my dad and the owner is very accommodating and just an overall sweetheart. She is a delight to the residents and my dad loves her.

Loved like at home
This place was the 4th place my father inlaw was in . He is very easy to get along with. The other places he was in started out good but as management changed he became just an income and his care got worse. At the Statford home he was truly loved, cared for and honoured has he should have been. The care givers there became his family and he loved them very much. [Name removed] and her staff truly love the elderly . I highly recomend this place for your loved one.

I think the staff are so friendly and caring at Stratford Home. I appreciate that a lot. The overall care and concern from them is very good. I think he is doing just fine at this facility. There isn't anything I would have them improve on at this time.

It has been a wonderful place
It has been a wonderful place. My mother is doing much better there than the long term care she was at. The owner is really a fantastic person. We're very happy with the care that we receive there.
