Well i have always appreciated [name removed] for her personal service and seeing that my room was clean, bed was made the way i preferred and linens were replaced. The kitchen staff have worked hard to.provid the food we prefer, I like lots of veggies, NOT overcooked and they do what they can considering the varied tastes of the many different residents,I also prefer fresh fish but oh well and Asian, Latin, ethnic foods are my preferences BUT I am realistic, so i appreciate all their efforts and try to let them know if i thoughtsomething was really special. I always enjoyed the outings and the extra attention that [name removed] gave on our many trips to docs, stores whatever. Havent attended many activities but that is on me, there is a variety offered and i only hear positive remarks. I hear all the fun from those who join in card games and know most enjoy the movies being shown. I really appreciate the extra effort put in to decorating and celebrating all the special days in our life, world. I complain alot but know i am very lucky for the care and friendships i have developed here.

Be careful and get things in writing.
We did not have a good experience at Stoneybrook Lodge. The director was very unfriendly and overcharged us for several things without discussing it first. My mom broke her hip in the laundry room and laid on the floor screaming for help until a neighbor heard her and helped. The employees never came to her help. After that fall, my mom's health went down quickly and she passed away last March. She never recovered from that accident.

Stonebrook Lodge was fabulous!!
THe visit there with [name removed] was great. He showed me a studio down stairs great. I was unsure of the smoking location, out on porch or does he have to go to a designated area?
Oh, amenities were great! All the tv, internet, laundry service and community care is great.
It might be a bit more fancy for [name removed].

Beautiful but not in our budget
This is a beautiful community with lots of different amenities for their residents but we cut our tour short as we felt that it was not in the budget we were looking for and they did not accept pets and my parent's dog is a very important part of their lives.

Mom loves it!
My mother has been joining in all of the activities since her move. She loves the place and is happy. The meals are more cafeteria style, not the best but not terrible, My mother likes it. They have a live-in manager, and he really seems to care about the residents. It has been a very good experience.

Extremely Clean
This community has been caring for my dad just fine. Everything that they do is a great job. The staff are keeping the facility extremely spotless and maintain a nice community. Everyone is welcoming and we have had no problems. However, there is a new cook and the meals have not been the same. It is not as good as before when my dad moved in.

The Care Has Been Okay
The staff are friendly and communicate with me well. I think the community is on top of being clean. My mom has activities offered to her at this facility. Her meals are good most of the time. Everything has been okay and I'd surely recommend this place.

Pleasant experience
Stoneybrook is a beautiful facility and it is always clean and well maintained. The staff is very caring and they are good with the residents. There does seem to be a high turnover rate, but I think that is just how the business is. Overall, a pleasant experience

Great management /activies could improve
Really great management. Not many activities for the ones who can't see or hear very well. Wish their was more outreach to that population to get them involved so they don't feel like there's nothing to do and just sit in their room.

They are doing a good job.
They are doing a good job. I don't really have any concerns with them. It's a clean place, and the staff is friendly. The food is good. Overall, we are happy with it.

Stoneybrook is very fancy! It's beautiful and gorgeous. It's a gorgeous spot and I know Corvallis and like it there but my decision really just came down to price and location and Stoneybrook didn't make the cut.

Great Price for What You Get
My mom lives there. She hasn't complained. The one thing is if you request something to be corrected like a leaky faucet or something it takes several days for them to do. That's why I give them a 4.5 so it's really not that bad. I think one thing that is spectacular is that when people come in the door of the place it feels like a vacation. My mother's friends have commented that they're surprised with the price for what they get.
They go to the casino. I know they went to Eugene and shopping. They have music during the week and bingo. They had a Saturday tailgater for the Oregon and Oregon State game. They have happy hour, I think it's Thursdays.

It's like a hotel kind of environment. I love the people there. The staff were nice but they've had a lot of turnover so I don't know how they are now but once upon a time a few years ago everything was great.
