Exceptional Care and Peace of Mind
Millennium Memory Care in Monroe has been a wonderful place for my grandmother. The staff are caring, the facility is always clean, and the activities keep residents engaged and happy. A special thanks to Sarah, the manager, whose kindness and dedication truly make a difference. We couldn’t be happier with the care our family has received!

Incredible Care for my Grandfather
Millennium Memory Care in Monroe took incredible care of my grandfather, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The staff is so kind and patient, always going the extra mile to make sure he felt safe, loved, and comfortable. [name removed], the manager, is truly amazing—she’s compassionate, attentive, and runs the place like it’s her own family. The private rooms and homey environment made all the difference, and the staff’s expertise in handling memory care was a huge relief for us. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with dignity and care, this is it! Highly recommend.

Millennium Memory Care
My mother was generally taken care of. There were no activities to engage her. She was upset that she had no kosher food which is not the fault of the facility but I will say the food was not appealing. The weekend end staff was limited. There were new residents that invaded her space. Once she passed away I was deeply disturbed by how things were handled. Her belongings were thrown into a bag two days after she passed to make room for a new resident. I was not given access to the room anymore. Many of her belongings were missing, only some returned. No one would respond to my calls once she died. The main workers are good, the owners greedy

Concerns - I feel as if we were lied to.
I'm not too happy with them. I'll give it to them that the place is clean, and the food is good. The staff are lovely people - but they're just poorly trained. They advertise that they take care of difficult clientele, and they don't have the first clue how to do that. All they want to do is medicate. The first night my person was there, she objected to being showered, and two people grabbed her and dragged her into the shower. When I visited her the next day, she had big gouges on her arms. I made it very clear to them that would not happen again, and it hasn't since I addressed it with them.

Nothing Fancy but Effective
Millennium was quite a contrast from the facility we moved my dad out of, which was all smoke and mirrors when it came to the level of care. My dad was a difficult case from both a medical and behavior perspective, but Millennium was well equipped to handle that. It may seem like a small thing, but I was very impressed how much emphasis Millennium put on keeping the residents hydrated -- that's actually a pretty big deal and the previous facility paid no attention to that at all. Although the up-front cost, in terms of the community fee seemed exorbitantly high, Millennium's monthly cost was quite reasonable when compared to its competition (only comparatively speaking... in truth, none of them are even close to "reasonable"). I found that their staff was very responsive and engaging and moreover, they really seemed to know what they were doing.

Steer clear
Unfortunately, due to COVID we were not able to look inside the facility and see how clean the staff kept it. The staff was very friendly until they weren't. They were nice upfront because they wanted your money, once they got your money they were not friendly at all. They always lied about who the owners were. Because of the virus we weren't able to go in and see the activities they offered to the residents. We do know that the staff lost my aunts clothes, they also put my aunt in the wrong facility which we found out when we came to visit. They would also gave us wrong information all time. She was only there for nine days, and still made us pay for the full months rent. Even with getting a lawyer this community has still not given us our money back,

My husband has been a resident at millennium memory care at Homdel for a little over a year and I am happy with the place . The manager ,[name removed] is very easy to deal with and very hands on. I had tried two other places prior to coming here and this was the best. I would highly recommend this place. [name removed]

A God Send
I placed my father here after receiving a referral from a social worker at the hospital he was staying with last. I felt at a loss as out of all of the places we were calling, over and over again he was being rejected. I received a call soon after speaking with the social worker from [name removed] who assisted with setting up a tour. I toured the Monroe location with my mother and we both agreed it was the right fit for my dad. He has been there just over a year now. The staff is so loving and accomadating and his behaviors seem to have been kept in check and he is doing as well as he can be doing. I visit him regularly and am grateful to have found a place like this for him. I truly thank everyone that was a part in him getting to Millennium Memory as this has been such a difficult journey. Millennium has relieved us from so much of this.

Great care at Millenium
Although we only there a short time before her passing, the care was excellent. I base this on having my loved one in another care facility where the care was not adequate and was unable to deal with any situation out of the normal. The price is very comparable to other facilities but the care is much better. The staff were much better at handling any of the behavioral issues that come along with dementia and memory loss. The smaller group home population helps to personalize care. I would recommend this place to others. It was always clean, the meals were cooked on premise and there were many activities to keep attention focused. It is such a hard 'condition' to live with and to watch someone go through but I think Millennium Memory Care is a positive solution.

Not as good as i would like
The community is nice looking and clean. They provide a handful of activities for my aunt to participate in as well. However, since our move-in in February my aunt's health has not been the best and I have not found her quality of care to be satisfactory. I do not know if it is due to new staff or what but necessary things such as doctors visits and such have not been getting made or have been canceled when they need to be made. I almost feel as if they were sweet-talking because as we've been here the quality of care has greatly gone down. We are going to have some meetings about my aunt's care and hope that the situation will change for the better in the near future.

Care with improvements
This community was nice. The staff were nice and caring, but they are under staffed and need more care. The community does need some improvments with the management and also getting more staff. The community needs to work on the cleanliness. I would suggest that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

An amazing community!
My father has been here 3 weeks and what a difference! They really know how to handle and take care of their residents. They specialize in Alzheimer's and not many other communities know how to really handle it like them. It is a smaller place with only about 16 residents. It is warm and home-like. They have 2 male caregivers which are very helpful. My father went in not eating, taking or making, and he is now eating food, walking ith a walker and much more alert. I can not express ho happy I am with this community!

Wonderful place, just right for my mother-in-law.
This is a wonderful community. It is specifically for those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, and all the residents have some degree of memory care required. All the residents have their own bedrooms, which is nice. The meals are home-cooked, and there is an on-site activities director who keeps things lively. There are also on-site nurses. The grounds are beautiful, with fenced in yard and walking area, and outside BBQ. Really an amazing community.

A Place for Mom has scored Millennium Memory Care 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
