The housekeeping is pretty good. It is always a work in progress. They mostly come in and empty the trash every day and and sweep in the resident's rooms in the most occupied area. The hallways, exterior and interior of the facility are very clean and smell clean and nice. Communication with the family is very good, or has been for us. I believe communication is a two way street, but if you keep them informed, they try to do the same. I believe the meals are pretty good quality. When trying to feed so many different pallets and residents from different walks of life and different areas, they do relatively well. However, due to staffing hiccups, they do have some food arrive cold or without condiments, etc. This is probably the exception however, not the rule. The move in was very easy and uneventful. I do not have any suggestions for improvement. Each month they have a residents meeting and management listens to the residents' suggestions and ideas, which I think is great. That does not mean they can implement every suggestion or idea given, just that they, the management give the residents a voice in their own facility and strive for improvements. I know there are probably some better facilities and some worse ones. This one has had a couple people come from other places, but it's \nreally pretty good and mom is happy, which makes us happy. Running an Assisted Living facility for the elderly is a difficult job. They do their best to provide care, understanding, comfort, and compassion for the residents.
