The interior of the house has an upscale design that suits its history, and it’s kept spotless and well-lit. Rooms come fully furnished.</p> <p>While it's one of many senior living options in Boston, Hale House is unique by not charging a fee. It's run by a private, nonprofit organization that has committed to helping seniors in need regardless of their ability to pay. The staff is equipped to help seniors with a range of needs, from those who only need a place to stay to those with more intensive medical problems. Hale House employs a licensed, on-site medical staff, and a nurse is onsite 24 a day. Laundry, housekeeping, and meals are also provided.
