Meals are served in a general dining area and are based upon a resident’s preferences and needs. The Center coordinates well with visiting health care professionals, such as nurses and physical therapists. The Center has a referral physician who promptly responds to questions and concerns. Daily medications are dispensed by trained staff who record each medication when given. The Center is attractively furnished, clean, and odor-free. Residents have their own private rooms, but typically spend most of the day in a large central room which overlooks a beautiful garden. Had a beautiful outdoor garden and walkway. They make each room homey for each person. Everything is on one floor. The only thing they could benefit from would be a laundry room. They should be able to wash clothes as needed. They watch funny movies during the day. They have 2-3 people per shift which makes it nice because you always have an eye out. The meals are personalized to each persons dietary needs. The director at ESMCC, [name removed], met me at the facility the day I called, gave me a tour. Then visited us at the Rehab Center on Easter Sunday, which was her day off. She scrambled to get paperwork completed and everything in place for her to move in that Monday. She was amazing! The facility itself is a 12 bed, women only locked unit inside a beautiful building. It is immaculately clean and has no odors, unlike other facilities we toured. Each room is private with a bathroom inside. The food is delicious. They have 3 meals and 2 snacks provided daily. There are activities and crafts. The staff is wonderful! They are kind, friendly, caring, and loving! We feel blessed to have found this amazing place for our 92 yr old mom to call home.
