<p>Desert Cottage III offers assisted living services and has been serving the senior or disabled population for over 30 years. With a home that serves up to six residents, you can expect a personalized, one-on-one care experience.</p>
<h3>Community Amenities and Services</h3>
<p>Desert Cottages III offers a variety of services but specializes in dementia and memory care. We know that preparing to face challenges associated with dementia is overwhelming, and we have years of experience and expertise to help make this process as stress-free as possible. In addition, we offer hospice care, respite care, and pet therapy, and provide a special transition program for new residents.</p>
<p>This transition program was developed with meeting the needs of new residents in mind. We know that moving anywhere is stressful, especially when there is a large life change involved and you or your loved ones are in need of care. That’s why we assign a staff member to work one-on-one with the new residents to get them acclimated to the new environment with meet-and-greets, tours, a welcome dinner, and walk-throughs.</p>
<p>Our residents also benefit from medication management, ambulatory care, diabetic care, and incontinence care. Providing our residents with the highest quality of care possible is our goal each and every day, and our staff-to-resident ratio helps us do that. General housekeeping is also taken care of to alleviate stress on residents.</p>
<p>The home has a dining room where residents can gather for meals, sit and visit with family, or participate in planned activities.All meals are prepared for residents and we can accommodate a variety of diets. Residents can also expect medical transportation to be arranged when necessary.</p>
<h3>Living Arrangements</h3>
<p>Desert Cottage III is a quaint home with both outdoor and indoor community spaces for residents to gather and relax. Bedrooms are spacious with ample natural light and guests can choose between both shared and private suites based on availability. The home is WiFi equipped and also offers Satellite/Cable TV, and air conditioning.</p>
<p>Our home is comfortable and cool, and is located in a neighborhood where residents can get to know their neighbors if they wish. The home also features a manicured lawn and garden to enjoy. Residents who bring pets with them can utilize that space to play fetch with Fido! We are an ASL-friendly and pet-friendly community.</p>

<p>Desert Cottage III is a <em>residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE)</em>, which in the state of California is a housing arrangement for persons 60 years or older where supervision and personal care is provided based on the needs of the residents.
