LOVE THIS FACILITY!
We were looking for a place for my grandmother to stay since her health declined. She's had some health concerns including dementia, COPD, and Congestive heart failure. I can not thank the Staff and the Director enough for all their help. My grandma is a tough case and I am confident knowing that she is well taken care of in a clean and safe environment. They prepare fresh nutritional home cooked meals every day, I absolutely love Apple Blossoms Assisted living!

Located in Silver Spring, Maryland, Apple Blossoms Assisted Living is a place where seniors can enjoy their golden years in a quiet neighborhood with no signs of an institutional complex. We believe you family should be treated like our family and work hard to make every resident feel like a member of our community. While staying with us, residents can enjoy prepared healthy meals and snacks, assistance with laundry, personal care, housekeeping and medication. We also offer a plan of care for each resident, dental services, house calls from nearby Holy Cross Hospital and recreational activities to help promote well-being. Odette Rodney, our owner and operator, has over 15 years of experience in the health care field and has been running our community for eight years. She believes showing every resident her compassionate heart. Our on-site facilities, close proximity, and beautiful neighborhood feel make Apple Blossoms Assisted Living an incredible choice for your loved ones.

So many good things here: Daily exercise, activities, lunch out on deck on warmer days, trips, alarms, life-alert type necklaces where needed, Owner [name removed] loves to cook and asked what foods Mom likes. Seat and bed monitors for those needing assistance or to be monitored at night. Visiting Dr, nurse, access to psychiatrist, reasonable rates, staff ratio good, weekly visits from U. Md students doing activities, pharmacy delivery, visiting podiatrist for foot care. Owner is fabulous and lives locally and is involved with residents.

We met w/ the Director. Very impressed with her warm hospitality, cordial & homey environ, knowledge & experience with dementia/altzheimer patients. Small private, clean residence nested in a quiet neighborhood. Good 1 on 1 patient attention potential. Small staff & operation. Good option.

We really liked Director and her staff. Mom did not like the chair lift on the stairs and the close proximity to 495 - too much traffic noise. Director was a lovely, caring person.
