Beautiful and clean facility. I am pending approval on a studio apartment and should receive word on acceptance by the end of the week. Quite a few amenities and daily activities.

I absolutely love it here. The staff is friendly and so are all the residents. We're like a family. The grounds are beautiful and the buildings are always clean and well maintained. The room rent includes electric, cable, and 2 meals a day as well as transportation to outside events weekly stops to surrounding banks, drug stores and Dr visits. The food is tasty and the menu changes weekly This facility is like an all inclusive resort.

Great facility! Everyone is genuinely friendly. The place is so welcoming and smells amazing. You can tell that they take pride in their facility.

Beautiful community. I originally toured this community when they first opened 2002. They have done a wonderful job maintaining this community. They have made some beautiful updates. The residents and staff look happy.

It is pleasant here. Residents are friendly and staff is considerate, responsive, and caring. I would recommend it to others. Our story is not like those online or most people here. I found The Sheridan at Oak Brook for my husband and me. We are the youngest ones here, in good health, have good hearing and minds, and are both still driving. I was surprised by that. I thought independent living would be filled with people more like us. But, in any case, we are enjoying it. And the staff (and food) are super.

I was in the community for a lovely networking.Event. i was able to take a chore with their sales director and she did a fantastic job of explaining their community. All of the residents looked well engaged, healthy and happy. Looking forward to the next event at addington place.

A wonderful community with a wonderful team! The community is warm and inviting and it feels like home.

Everyone we met was very friendly and knowledgeable. [name removed] took the time to listen to what my mom was looking for and kept in mind that my mom can't walk too far and kept the tour to a minimum. [name removed] also went out of her way to get the bathtub changed out for a shower in the apartment.

I recently visited a family member. The facility was clean, organized, and had established care plans. The staff were kind, friendly, helpful. The community relations director was friendly with a willingness to answer any questions we had. Very happy with the facility, staff, and care provided.

I recently had the opportunity to speak with [name removed], and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From the moment we connected, [name removed] was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. She took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. What stood out most was her compassion and professionalism, she clearly cares about the residents and goes above and beyond to ensure families feel confident in their decisions. [name removed] provided detailed information without ever making me feel rushed or pressured, which made a big difference. Addington Place of Clarkston itself seems like a welcoming and well-maintained community, and [name removed] truly reflects the quality of care and dedication you’d hope to find there. I would highly recommend reaching out to her if you’re considering this community for yourself or a loved one.

The building was very nice. It was well taken care of and clean. The staff was great. Everyone greeted us with a smile and we talked to a few of the residents. They said the care there was great. [name removed] did a great job showing us around and the price was good as well. We are moving my dad in next and he seems to be very happy with moving in.

I toured a few weeks ago with [name removed], they said she was new but we couldn't tell. She gave us a lot of great information. We are hoping our loved one will decide to move to Addington. If not we will keep encouraging her. It was a beautiful community.

Quiet and small. Staff is personable and professional

Clean amd welcoming environment. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Answered questions and offered the opportunity to walk around and examine overall facility and sample residence.

It was lovely and affected many fine amenities. However it just haven’t the right feel for me at this time.
