Friendly people. Pleasant Place, Convenient location

Allegria Village is connivant located near medical facilities, shopping, entertainment and educational institutes. There are places where friends can gather to play cards, work a puzzle and play games like Dominoes, Mahjong's and Wii Bowling. There is a chapel that offer non-denominal service and a Sunday Catholic Mass. Besides green spaces around campus where you can enjoy a walk there is a swimming pool, fitness centers putting green and Bucci Ball.

Review for Allegria Village

My loved one recently moved to Allegria Village. She lived up north and her husband died. She doesn't have kids and she and my sisters and I thought it was best for her to live closer to us. Allegria Village was the first place we talked to. It was a positive experience and we liked the amenities that are offered. She and we decided it was a good place for her to move and so far so good. She has gotten pretty well settled in and has even met some people. Everyone has been really helpful to her.

I'm a long term resident with 22 years of lived experience at the village. I love living here, there are certain things needs to get done. Example, fix the toilets, fix the elevators, replace worn carpet on first floor hallway, have lawn care service clean up grass clipping, and keep St Clair dining room doc clean. Ask for resident. I'm suggesting shutting down one or more buildings. Ask Dearborn city government for a property tax reduction due to diminution in value.

We have been residents since [date removed]. We did "trail run" summer of [date removed] and enjoyed our time with all the amenities, friendly staff, and residents. We told out marketing rep what we would like. Six months later, she found put perfect place. We feel at home. with no home maintenance, lots of new friends, opportunities for community involvement, and happy to go down for a good dinner with many friends each night. The grounds and walk paths are great in the summer. Our only downside is that it a 30+year-old bldg that needs refreshing and have been told it is in the plans.

Great Place to Live!

I have lived here for 6 years. I am very pleased. The staff are friendly and eager to please. I am particularly pleased with the security department. We have a pull cord to see when someone falls and I had to use it many times late a night for my husband security dept. We have a pull cord to see when someone falls and I had to use it many times late a night for my husband. Security who are end tech came quickly. There is plenty to do exercise games, trips classes, cords etc. Its is diverse community and the people are very friendly.

Great Place to Live

I've lived at Allegria Village Independent Living for almost two years. I love living here for several reasons. The residents here are friendly and the place is large enough to maintain many groups and clubs, so you are sure to find others with your interests and hobbies. This is a gated community so security is top notch and EMT trained. They maintain several dining rooms with separate menues, so food choices are varied and the food is very good. The acres of grounds are vast and enjoyable. They have a year round indoor pool and hot tub. This year I grew delicious tomatoes in my garden plot. What more could you ask for? I didn't comment on care services because I haven't used them.

Review for Allegria Village

It's clean and the food is delicious! If you have any problems in your apartment you call the maintenance people and they will handle your problem within a day . There are over 20 activities that you can attend. Never a dull moment here at the village. You can wash and dry your clothes free and you can swim and exercise free! You are given 1 meal daily and you can use it for breakfast , lunch ( carry out) or dinner ( eat in)

Would definitely recommend

My dad was in the memory care part of Alegria at the Oaks.I was very impressed with their care, the cleanliness, friendly staff and the administrative staff was very good. They had activities which my dad loved. They had birthday parties and everyone got a piece of cake. They really knew his name every time I went there they knew who he was. It was really nice to see. They sat at tables and chairs for each meal. They also had snacks for them during the day and after dinner. His bed was always made. He was dressed nice with shoes and socks. They had activities like chair exercises. He also liked music they played, some of the nurses said he even danced with them and had a huge tv with a group of chairs so everyone could sit and watch tv. I was happy with Allegria. The week after I moved out of state, he fell and hit his head during the night and he had passed away a little bit later that day the end of August.

There is so much here!

My mother loves The Village. She has so many daily activities to choose from. The food options are amazing. Our favorite activity is swimming. The water is perfect. Her one bedroom apartment is very spacious and the courtyards are beautiful.

This has been a great fit for me!!!

I am an 81 year old male who has been widowed for the last 24 years. About a year ago I decided it was time for me to move into an independent living facility for two main reasons. Number one I was looking for some additional fellowship and secondly I wasn’t eating properly. Both of those reasons have been more than accomplished after moving into Allegria Village. All the residents are extremely friendly and I enjoy eating and interacting during meals and other activities. There are plenty of activities and things to get involved in.
