My mother has moved into Marquis after a horrible experience in another facility. She is doing much better now with their individualized, thorough care. They are working around the clock with their own staff, with hospice care, and with our own 24 hour caregiver to ensure that my mother has eyes on her and is safe at all times. We are so relieved that we were able to move her here.

I love the opportunity mom has had to make new friends. However, there has been lots of turnover of employees and staffing shortages, but I hear that is happening at a number of facilities in our area. And mom complains that the menu gets boring. We needed to move fairly quickly when it was time to move her from rehab to Assisted. Did not have a lot of time to visit many other places. Some places did not accept Medicaid. Although Mom does not need that now, when her funds are depleted we will need to apply for Medicaid coverage at that point.

Staffing is the main issue.. Seems to be lots of turnaround even in management. Maybe it's just the timing of when Mom arrived in January, but seem to be people are always moving on to something else. Mom is very happy here so far... just minor complaints about some of the meals and how boring the menu can get at times. Otherwise, no complaints

This place is in a lovely residential neighborhood and has recently been remodeled. It's clean and upbeat and the staff all seem to really enjoy working there. The residents seem happy.

My mother is there for rehab after a fall. She just arrived there yesterday but it was recommended to us by her independent living community, Spring Ridge, and by other people. So far everyone has been extremely helpful!

This is a new community. The director is very nice. I did not get a home feeling here. They seem to have a good variety of meals to choose from. They offer a lot of nice activities for the participate of others. It was a very clean community. I would recommend this community to other families depending on their needs for a loved one.

My father was previously here for rehab, and then he moved to the assisted living for a short time. He was there for maybe 5 days, and they never checked on him. I just was not impressed overall because they did not do anything they said they would.

I am so glad I got my mom out of here. The staff was horrible and NON caring. They left my mom sitting most of the day with dirty pants and underwear on. And they wouldn’t make sure she was eating. This place was so [Removed] and my mom’s room always looked like a wreck. The staff only do what their job title is NEVER do they go above and beyond to just help out. We are very happy with the new community. They were in it just for the money.
