I'm very happy with the Commons. Mom is happy. The food is good, location is fair. The staff are great. It's a wonderful place. It is very expensive.

The staff is extremely friendly. Everyone knew my dad's name in the first week and greeted him whenever they saw him. All staff are knowledgeable with how to deal with the residents in a kind and patient manner. They are helpful and very responsive in getting answers to questions and requests. My dad even commented that when he first got help with his shower, "Wow, these people really know what they are doing !"

[name removed] was great at helping us and answering all of our questions. The facility is all top notch providing a real sense of community. The apartment size is perfect for my mom and the cost is very affordable (including a discount as mom is a veterans widow).

Staff is warm friendly and supportive. Lots of activities to choose from but my mom prefers to sit them out and they validate her choices and wishes. Food is very good with a wide variety of choices. My mom's apartment is beautiful and spacious with a lovely view of the garden. The garden space is the best part of all! My mom loves to stroll in the gorgeous, enclosed, private space and enjoys interacting with other residents throughout the property. It has been the perfect choice for my mom and I recommend it very highly!

The meals and the atmosphere are great. I like the layout of the physical space. Yes. I certainly would recommend the community to others.

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. It's in a great location and has a lot of activities available both inside and outside the facility. It also has a heated pool and the staff is friendly and most of the time helpful.

What we like the most about the community is that the staff in my mom's section is friendly and engaging! One thing that might be different is my mom's room is larger than others with big windows to look out over the courtyard. It's a big help for her to adjusting to not being in her home. Yes, we would recommend Carmel Village to other families based on the experience so far.

The lodge was so helpful through this process. She appears to be very comfortable in her room, Which is a shared bathroom. She appears to be very satisfied with her meals.

I only assisted the family with locating potential new homes for a family friend. I made contact with A Place for Mom, spoke to a wonderful and very helpful man who sent me information on several possible homes. I did some research to narrow down the options and forwarded them to the family. To the family Sterling Place was close to them, had the amenities they were looking for, fit their financial situation and the manager was willing to speak with them and meet with them on a holiday weekend. My friend said her daughter had an instant connection with the manager and everything moved quickly afterwards.

My parents are very happy with the Remington. They enjoy the food and the social activities. The staff and residents are very friendly. They also love the location close to shopping, banks, the post office, and doctors.

The community has a lot of activities, and the staff is caring and just overall amazing. I would recommend this community to others who are currently searching.

Hey have courteous, helpful and friendly! The staff is friendly and very helpful. When I needed extra care they knew before I did! They go out of their way for everyone to be happy and cared for. Because I have had some medical/personal problems they bring meals to me. I feel so spoiled!! I have nothing but high praise for all the staff ! I have recommended them to a few friends who were thinking of a move also.

I appreciate that my Mom feels safe and is able to interact with folks her age. [name removed] is pleasant and professional, she's always willing to help. Mom has lost her depression and is much more active in this community.

Lots of activities, many of which include families. The place is very clean and staff is friendly. The staff is good about communicating if the resident needs anything. My one wish is that they had more on site healthcare options. For instance, when they thought that mom had a UTI, they would collect the urine sample, but I had to go pick it up and deliver it to a lab.

Staff always say hi and are very patient. They have a lot of fun activities and outings. I wish they would have a few more for legally blind residents. Dining room feels like a vacation and there are lots of choices including the ability to get 1/2 if you are not a big eater. Overall my mom has been very happy there and has made many friends.

The staff is caring and concerned. They check on her twice a day and call when she is not feeling well. The med tech handles all of her prescriptions and gives them to her as prescribed. She is very happy with the food.

We shopped multiple communities for my mom and dad in San Diego and finally chose the right one for my parents. The Remington Club is so warm and comfortable and we enjoy joining my parents for special events. Recently we attended the Mother's Day brunch and the community carnival. All fun events and sometimes I have trouble finding them as they are out enjoying the pool or the morning exercise class. They have a few new managers who the residents rave about. [name removed] is heading up dining services and [name removed] is the new Executive Director. I brought up a few things regarding the apartment and they were repaired that day. We love Rancho Bernardo and hope to move into a place that is warm and friendly like The Remington Club. If you are in the area, please come check this community out.

Happy with the community, the food service and the other residents are welcoming. The price is a little high compared to some other places.

Overall The Grove is a wonderful place and we are glad our sister is there. Only major complaint is the managing of her diet ie, diabetic (non-insulin) and the simple request of only serving her sugar-free desserts and syrup for pancakes is not happening consistently. I can also say that their holiday and special occasions festivities are wonderful
