My sister seems happier here than the last place. She is getting more one-on-one care, since this is a smaller facility. I would highly recommend this type treatment for advanced care. Rather than the large impersonal care that is received at the other type with all the bells and whistles.

The staff and owners care about their residents and do what they can to make the place nice and comfortable. They have musicians come to play music and make holidays very special. It is a nice and clean assisted living place.

We give this community 5 stars across the board. Florida Shores is a great place the staff is amazing friendly funny but serious about their job an [name removed] an her husband are very incredible an the most wonderful people I've ever met my Aunt loves them an the facility everyone there are awesome an the food always smells an looks so good I highly recommend Florida Shores [name removed], [name removed], [name removed]an [name removed] are our family now we love them very much.

So far they seem like they are doing a fine job. He’s only been there a short time, but we’re much happier here than we were at the previous community. It can take a little time for someone to adjust after moving.

We recently tour this facility but we weren't impressed right away because of lack of staff they have, what bothered me is that 1 staff from activities told us that we need to put our loved ones in a different assisted living because residents are not properly assisted due to lack of staff. Talked to administrator of course all you will hear are all good things. Sorry but with regards to my tour I was not impressed and very expensive compared to the other ones close by.

I would never recommend this place to anyone, this place is so mismanaged. My grandmother stayed here and due to the lack of care, she fell and ended up in the hospital several times, she was never the same. One of the nurses would argue with her, trying to correct her, she has Alzheimers, can't you just agree with someone and leave it alone, why do you feel the need to anger her by being right?, It is supposed to be a locked facility but my grandmother left several times and they had to go running after her. At the end she was barely eating, she needed help but was not given it, we were told she was dying, we took her out of that place and brought her to another place where they restored her back to health and she was able to enjoy the remaining time in her life with care and love.
