The care services doesn't apply for mom because she is in independent living and doesn't receive care. Food= I'd give it a 4 based on what mom tells us. She says they are running out of things more often. Everything else I'll give a 5! Mom really likes it there and is very happy! She's made friends, participates in activities and always has good things to say about the employees, especially [name removed] that is her housekeeper.

My mother lived at PIV for 18 months. It was the right place for her for a long time due to the social activities, the kind and supportive staff, and the management and leadership team. She enjoyed PIV's activities from the lunch trips she took for many months, to the special events, to regular activities like bingo, to the everyday dinner conversations with friends. She was missing out on those opportunities for social interaction when she lived alone before moving to PIV. When something in the apartment needed attention, staff responded promptly. When my mother needed assistance with anything, the staff responded with kindness and respect. She was greeted by name wherever she went. In fact, whenever I walked down any hallway, staff members knew every resident by name. That kind of attentiveness and personal connection meant a great deal to my mother and to our family. I recommend Plymouth Independence Village to anyone looking for independent living in the area.

For Storypoint, what stood out to me initially was the activities for residents and their range of care level options should my father need it over time beyond what he needs for now. Since my Dad moved in last month, I've seen how much he has enjoyed his remodeled apartment and the care free living with the medical staff taking care of his meds, the dining room with impressive menu options, and not worrying about cleaning or laundry. He has also taken advantage of the on site physical, occupational, and speech therapy to continue his recovery. He has also started taking advantage of their transport van to get out to some local shopping. My Dad is still the 'new kid,' but he has already made a few friends and the 24 hour care has helped de-stress life for him and for our family. I imagine there are some cheaper assisted living options in the area, with varying levels of support options, but for my Dad Storypoint was the perfect choice for his care needs now and into the future.

My mom is in the memory care unit and couldn’t be happier. The staff is attentive, and the facilities are first rate. We couldn’t be happier with the decision to have mom come here. Every staff member we interact with is friendly and very welcoming. If you’re looking for a place for yourself or family member who needs additional this is your place.

What we like the most about Independence Village of Grand Ledge is that the staff and residents are so welcoming and friendly. The administrative staff are very helpful.

My Mom has enjoyed her time at Cascade Trails. There are a variety of activities for residents to enjoy. The place is clean and bright. There are different care levels depending on where your loved one’s capabilities are at and activities based on those capabilities. They do provide a variety of meals with alternatives if what they are serving does not agree with you.

I really love touring this community. Upon entering the building, the landscapeing is so pretty. The inside was very welcoming..

I recently toured this facility for my mother. It is a beautiful facility and super friendly staff. I will definitely take them into high consideration when chosing a place for mom.

The staff always goes out of the way to make you feel welcome is the good part. I'm not sure what could be improved at the moment. I would recommend to others.

The staffs willingness to work with my mother and I financially and with her needs. The activities and value, are unsurpassable. They have studios and 1 bedrooms. My mom has a studio with kitchenette and private bath. About 250SF.

Cascade Trails Senior Living has been such a gift for my mom and for our whole family. She first lived in the senior apartments and is now in assisted living, and through each transition the staff have shown incredible kindness, patience, and genuine care. They don’t just “do their jobs” — they truly know the residents, notice the small things, and make sure people feel seen and valued. My mom has made friends easily here, something that has brought her comfort. Watching her feel connected, supported, and part of a real community has meant the world to us. The warmth of the staff and the sense of belonging they create is something you can feel the moment you walk in.

The community was very clean and the staff was very helpful and nice. The event was very organized and I enjoyed myself. Staff was friendly and could tell they genuinely care for the residents at Forest Glen.

[Name Removed] was amazing to work with. [Name Removed] was lovely, cheery and helpful when I walked in without an appointment. The nurses & aids were incredibly kind and doing their best to meet my friend's needs in every way. I loved the people I worked with there.

We recently moved our mother from Independent Living apartment at Cascade Trails to assisted living. Her transition to her new home went well and she is getting the care she needs. We are happy with the team at Cascade Trails and know mom is in a safe and caring place.

Beautiful senior living facility. The staff was super nice and informative. The apartment's are generous in size.

Mom has been at StoryPoint Clinton Township and assisted living since shortly after it opened. She’s very involved in active and busy all the time everyone in the community has taken the time to know her know her name remember her name a dresser by her name she’s thriving and we’ve all been very thrilled with our experience.

[Name removed] was great to watch he taught me a lot and I learned a lot he is a great pta this place which is Danbury gave me a lot to look foward to in my next chapter and when I go into college I think I know what I want to do when I get out so thank you to [Name removed] he’s a great mentor.

Very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of things to do, trips planned twice a week. Always plenty to eat. My experience here has been great. I would recommend to others. I have found my new home.

Mom loves the activities and people there. Facilities are beautiful and clean and apartment is perfect. Mom didn't want to leave her condo and now says she is so happy and glad she made the move.

This is just great! I feel safe. I have my own room. If I need help or don't feel good, there is always someone to go to if I need it. You never know when you'll need help! I love the music. I also love the nature and birds!
