I absolutely loved to go visit my aunt. She loves it there. The staff is amazing and management always answers any questions we might have. The director is so compassionate. We couldn’t ask for a better place to. As soon as you walk in it’s a breath of fresh air. The housekeeper is wonderful Thank you

Today I was at my lowest point I had been out all day looking for a place for my mom when I stumbled upon this beautiful place hidden. I was instantly greeted by the administrator I apologize for just dropping in and she made me feel so welcomed. The place was gorgeous and her spirit was amazing I could see she cared about my concerns and the people . She toured me all over. At the end she assured me that it would be ok no matter what decision I made. Because of her I will be bringing my mom back. Thank you for easing my heart. I will forever be grateful.

It is under new management and the place looks amazing. The staff is very friendly. It is a pleasure to work with [name removed] in the office. [name removed] is adjusting to her new home.

Garden Plaza staff are all professional and very knowledgeable and friendly. I was helping my mother to find an independent senior living community, I previewed several places on her behalf, Garden Plaza easily made the top 3 list. My mother visited the 3 different places and Garden Plaza was immediately her top choice. She is very happy with her apartment, food, staff, activities and has made new friends among the residents.

Overall experience was awesome even though we were only there for 4 days. We hope to get my mother strong enough to go back. 2-7. Excellent

Looks like a mountain lodge. Lots of couples and wide range of ages. Many people well into nineties and doing quite well. People are very friendly, not cliquish. Food is excellent. Wide variety. Daily salad bar. Always has an extra meal selection. It’s an older place that they are slowly modernizing. Staff is great. Has assisted living facilities as well.

Staff at Garden Plaza of Valley View are great listeners who do a good job of accommodating resident needs. The apartment sizes here are ok, not generous.

My loved one is currently a resident at Park Place Retirement Community and this facility has lived up to all expectations. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

My wife and I spent about two hours having [name removed] show us around and answering our questions. She did an excellent job! The staff was most pleasant and we were impressed with the whole operation. At supper that evening we discussed our tour with our son and we then took him back to G.P. to see the place for himself. He too was impressed even though he didn't get to enjoy a good meal as we did earlier with [name removed]. In every way we were impressed and [name removed] couldn't have been more helpful. I toured here when looking for options. They were very nice, and the place is lovely. It was fantastic. Katherine has been very helpful in helping me navigate the terrain with insurance and things. It is a bit more expensive than I am sure I can afford.

Garden Plaza Of Valley View provided outstanding assistance in making the transition from existing townhouse to Valley View, including recommendations on realtors to handle sale of townhouse. The Sales Director at Valley View was particularly helpful in addressing all of the details involved in the move and the adjustment to a new environment. The community at Valley View is truly a caring, friendly and loving group of people.

Food variety needs to be much better, and bathing/washing the hair can be improved! As far as activities go, I've never seen them do any, so I'm not sure. (They claim that they do them, however). I am only usually there during lunchtime and dinner. I may stay a little after dinner. The TV they have on the second floor, which is my mom's floor, is never turned up enough to hear what's going on. It is also very, very small. They really need to get a much larger TV, and turn up the sound. Music playing would be lovely as well. They did have a lovely worker there, named [name removed], who spoke German to my mother. I have not heard my mom speak German, ever really. It was so nice that she communicated with my mom that way. As of last week, though, she is no longer there. I am not sure why she quit. I do know the last time I was there, she was working very, very hard. I think she felt overworked.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The environment is nice and newly renovated. They're having trouble maintaining staff especially in the kitchen and food service areas so, my dad is frustrated with that not being as good in quality as when he first moved there a year ago.

A truly caring and home like community. The staff are patient and knowledgeable and know how best to deal with mom's memory and cognition issues. We picked this location because of the location, thoughtful layout, and the presence of therapy in the location. We also got a lot of positive feedback from those in the elder care community.

My Aunt is very happy being here. The staff really go out of their way to make you feel like you’re part of their family. The marketing director is doing a great job as well; she’s there every day trying to make sure the facility is presented in the best way. My Aunt loves the food. She says it’s well seasoned and they offer substitutes if she doesn’t like the main entree; the only complaint she has is that they serve a bit too much. The cleanliness seems to be pretty good, there isn’t a lot of clutter, and housekeeping comes in to change her sheets and clean the room once a week. They also come in every day to empty the trash and dust. They offer a few activities like bingo and entertainment. I would definitely recommend this place!

My husband and I toured Garden Plaza and thought it was very beautiful. It was a very nice place and the staff was friendly, but the place was just too big. I think it was two stories high, and it was just a larger place than we wanted. The woodwork was also very rich and dark, and I wanted something brighter and lighter.

The people are all very friendly and nice. My sister doesn't like the food they serve sometimes but they do offer an alternative menu. She seems to be happy here and I would recommend them.
