Moved in recently and everything has been great. Mom loves the food and activities.

Staff is kind, food is good, still setting but good so far.

THIS FACILITY IS THE TOP-OF-THE-LINE BUILDING. THERE ARE FAMILIES THAT ARE EXPECTING A SKILLED NURSINF FACILITY AND THIS IS NOT WHAT THIS FACILITY IS. THERE ARE FAMILIES THAT CAN NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR OWN FAMILY AND DUMP THEM OFF HERE. ITS A SHAME STAFF MEMBER HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THE RUDE FAMILIES.

Our family has been very pleased with Cambridge Hills, we would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far. It looks much more like a homey place rather than a hospital setting. Our loved one absolutely loves the meals and dining service that gets higher than 5 stars.

Almost everything could be improved! I would not have my brother stay there again.

the RCC is very rude. She doesn’t know how to talk to employees or residents. She needs to dismiss herself from this facility because her talking is very rude. She does everything with the attitude and doesn’t know how to talk without an attitude. I want to talk to someone about getting her out of the building

I have had the worst experience in healthcare at this facility for my mother in-law. The facility itself is horrible as far as care, and reliability. They are too short staffed to even have their doors open to accept patients. Then there is Eventus whole health, that provides physicians, medications, and the patients records. All of which are under different companies for their patients. No one knows what is going on. The communication for this facility and their management are the worst that I have ever experienced. And, I've been in healthcare for 40yrs now. I hope that you have luck finding somewhere else to place your loved ones. I will never recommend this facility to anyone, especially under the current management.

My friend [name removed] and remember this name because he is going to be the reason this place gets investigated. This place is all about money but [name removed] received [removed]mthly and there was no issue with that when he moved in(remember this part). The day before yesterday this facility pretty much dropped him off at ECU ER and a social worker called me and said the facility doesn't want him back so she is looking for a rehab that will take him. An employee called me the night they took him and said his leg was swollen and he had to go. The next day the ER called and said that the assisted living does not want him back. He didn't even have his clothes. He is somewhat mentally disabled and he told me they gave him discharge papers for[removed] th but they never called or emailed me. They didn't even say why he had discharge papers. After researching I found out [name removed] is not the only one they've done this to. Something is shady about this place and I'm talking to legal aid and an obudsman.

This place is one sorry place as far as I’m concerned. The administrator [name removed], is hateful and speaks to the families like dogs. I called about a concern about my loved one and she was very rude to me and told me that if I was that unhappy I needed to find another place or they would. My loved one wouldn’t get a bath or clothes changed. I would have to get them to change clothes for me when I came to visit. Then the stupid people in corporate is very inconsiderate as well. This place is all about money and they don’t care about the residents. I will be calling state as well.

This is one sorry place as far as care goes. My family member fell one evening and they didn’t notify me at all. My loved one called me the next day and told me they had fallen. When I asked them about it they lied and tried to cover it up. The administration is awful and they are hateful to residents. They also, had immediate discharge for my family member. Claimed they needed skilled care. This is not how you treat residents at all. I will make sure everyone knows what kind of place this is. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

There are too many relatives working here related to administrator or regional mngr...there is a lot of power struggle and bickering....not a great place for loved ones..high turn over in staff ie aids and med techs...

The only reason I gave two stars is because it’s a nice, clean facility and some of the staff, particularly housekeeping, were genuinely caring people. My family’s experience was horrendous. My parent, who had been diagnosed with dementia, was accepted as a resident here. Since the staff in this community, by their own admissions, is not trained to deal with memory care residents, they should be accepting only those needing 100% assisted living. DO NOT consider this a place for your loved one if they are showing any signs of dementia.

Salem Terrace is a TERIBLY, HORRIBLE Assistant Living Place. DO NOT send your Loved One here. JUST DON'T!!!!!! Turn around and go somewhere else.
