A good place to live
Mulberry is a good place to live. The meals are decent for the amount of people they have to serve. I enjoy going to the entertainment they have and the staff are very kind and helpful. I think it is a good place to live and I am happy living here.

Everyone has been really good to me. I can’t say anything bad about. I don’t think I could pick one favourite thing. I love everything about mulberry. The staff is very helpful and kind. I am perfectly happy here.

A good place to call home
Living at Mulberry Estates has been a wonderful experience for me. The staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I appreciate having my independence also enjoy the activities, social events and sense of community here. I’ve made some wonderful friends that also called the Mulberry home. The building and grounds are well cared for and everything is designed with comfort and safety in mind. It truly feels like home and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and enjoyable independent living community.

Mulberry is like home
All the staff are really nice. The management is great. They have a variety of activities to go to and choose from if you like. I like the flooring in my room that it isn’t carpet. I live in a studio and it is a very nice size. It is not too small where you cannot get anything in. Everyone gets along here, everyone is very nice here.

Best place to retire
If you are looking for a retirement home it’s one of the best places to go as far as I’m concerned. It’s got lots of activities and I like the dining room set up. It is not assigned seating. I enjoy it here, there is always someone to talk to.

I have been here for three years and I have loved it ever since I have come. I don’t have complaints worth bother bringing up. I enjoy the activities if I can get down to them. I love my suite and the staff is great.

Mulberry is great
It is Great place to live. The staff is great. Wonderful people, everyone is friendly. The food is good. There is lots of things to do if you want to do them. I love it here. It is exactly what I needed.

When the time is right this is right
I am impressed with the staff and management. The ship is run very good. I am totally impressed with everything. I wasn’t ready until I was ready. There meals are healthy. The community is clean. Anytime you ask help of any kind there is always help there. I am very happy here. The activities are very well organized and you can do as much or as little as you want. There is always lots to do, and different things to do. It is very safe here. I am happy with the way it is run.

There is lots to do at Mulberry. The staff is very good and helpful. They’re cheerful. The food is good. The entertainment is good and they have it often. There is lots of activities and they have a good team.

Our home is Mulberry
Mulberry is a very easy place to drive up to. It is very easy to come in and out, the hallways are very wide for lots of space. Which makes it very safe. Fire doors, etc. We love the entertainment and the staff is tremendous. It is nice meeting so many different people, there is always someone to talk to. Fantastic view out the front. There is a little bit of everything here. The bus driver is excellent and very helpful. The staff is extremely helpful.

The perfect home away from home
We moved in with the thought we are going to enjoy this and it has been over and above that for us. We have become not just friends, but just like a family. The staff here is unbelievable in all their kindness and thoughts towards us. We are very happy with all the activities That are going on and try to take them in as we can and we’re happy with our cleaning staff and we’re happy with the servers and there’s nothing to be unhappy about. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to live if you’re looking for your mom or your dad to have a place pick this, it’s the best.

Mulberry Estates YES
Talking to others this is the best place not only in Moose Jaw but the Province. Rates are better than other facilities of similar nature. Knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient staff who care for the residents. It’s a safe and friendly place to live with lots of opportunities if you choose to participate. I would recommend it to others.

Mulberry is home
The staff is very friendly and are willing to help me whenever I need. The building is kept in good shape and I feel at home here. The food is always to my liking. I don’t have any complaints and I am very happy here.

Mulberry Estates review
Care of managerial staff in terms of friendliness, approachability is great. Services like bus services is cut in half and ends at 2.This is very inconvenient. Winter activities in terms of say having a drive to see the Christmas lights or just to see the town if not from here would be great. There is no service to [name removed]. Cabs are used for medical ,emergencies only now-this is awkward for say going to the grocery store. If you do not have a car or family, there is no getting around on weekends ie...church or just getting out. Meals are the best socializing times(but for me that took about 3 months to establish -not nice! No real reaching out or spontaneous getting together between tenants, There are some set activities like Happy Hour, ice cream, exercise in the morning(so I can't make it being a night person),you get the impression that needed inside repairs and better meals etc. have been put off do to high costs after covid. There is no real 24hr.food bar etc. and the gym is a small room with only 3 rowing machines. The staff etc. are great and generally approachable. Sometimes one on one communication back and forth to you can be limited. I think with summer they may have more activities outside and things to do. My room is very tiny and cost problems can exist. But this is the best place I could find that had some space within in my cost abilities. However [name removed] and [name removed] were not explored as well as some other places right here in town. I think there is good medical service here, just no doctors willing to take you on. I still do not have [name removed]. health card as I need to get my birth certificate. Pets are welcome here which I think us amongst their best points! This place is just great for most here as they have friends and family nearby to help them out to get out and about, to help with paperwork or help fix up ones room. On the whole this place is no where near the places I saw on Vancouver Island but their prices are generally better than [name removed].

Comfortable and enjoyable spot for dad
We chose Mulberry Estates because the future availability of socialization and the activities provided. The demographic also fits where my father is, so he is amongst his peers. He is in a studio apartment which is the smallest one that they offer, but he finds it cozy and he likes it. They do have a good variety of meals, they have options everyday that residents can choose from. The facility has a lovely green space so they have formed social distancing walking groups. Also the shuttle service is a lovely asset for doctors appointments and grocery shopping. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

Mulberry Estates in Moose Jaw
Be wary of the Mulberry Estates in Moose Jaw. At the beginning of our stay, the staff was very pleasant, and ensured that all will be looked after… but, I would hate to have anyone go through the turmoil that we did. Be careful! Don’t be fooled by the superficial pleasant atmosphere and the grand dining area. Look in the corners and see the dust bunnies and grime. If you observe closely, you’ll see the staff is toxic, and believe me, you most definitely are not getting what you pay for.
Here is my story:
The Mulberry informed us that my husband had been taken by ambulance 2 days after the fact and stated it had to do with back pain at dinner time. Upon getting the hospital file, it was discovered that the incident was due to a significant fall within the suite during the evening hours. When questioned about why weren’t we notified sooner, a member of the staff was obnoxious and used the excuse that they are an independent retirement facility and cannot phone the minute something happens. What if he would have had a fatal heart attack?
The Mulberry in Moose Jaw has lost our trust with being untruthful, belligerent, and deceitful. Various statements provided by the Mulberry staff were false such as availability to the internet (but not in your suite), chef meals promised even though a chef position wasn’t filled so it made for a lot of hit and miss meals, accommodation of all food sensitivities (I had to eat meal replacement bars on quite a few occasions for the evening meal), providing light housekeeping weekly (mold was growing in the mugs/glasses in the kitchen sink, dirty bathroom, unpleasant smell throughout), and having a mental capacity deficient person sign his own lease which was in complete contravention to provided medial and legal documentation.
Our family was most offended and upset with 3 Mulberry staff routinely intervening themselves into personal family matters that were beyond their expertise, scope of practice, and job description. The same Mulberry staff orchestrated a legal guardian freezing our bank accounts when we had an optimal Power of Attorney already in place doing above and beyond what her duties are.
Needless to say, my husband was removed and placed in a different health retirement home.
Once again, don’t be fooled by the false promises of the “chef meals”, 24/7 buffet (that has no food!), pastries and home good baked “daily”, globally available wireless internet (except for in your own suite!), and routine impeccable (read as non-existent!) housekeeping. Unless you’d welcome drama, cattiness, misplaced judgement, exuberant stress, lies, deceit, manipulation, and most importantly, poor care for your loved one, look elsewhere! If you choose to stay at the Mulberry get very used to staff using the line “We’re an independent living facility” when it suits them. Get used to staff delegating their job requirements and responsibilities on to you, all the while judging and demeaning you for not doing their job good enough.

Beautiful and friendly but affordable.
The staff at Mulberry really listened to our needs at a time when we were in crisis. They found the best room options for my parents, they were willing to bending the price, made the room available immediately, was a beautiful home for them (like an extended cruise), promote slow mealtimes to encourage visiting with others instead of heading back to rooms, and extremely friendly. The bus service/taxi is used constantly by them for therapy and doctor as well as shopping trips. Activities are many if they wish to partake.
We are very happy with this choice as had researched a few before hand. They had the tastiest meal when we toured but should keep ensuring this continues as the seniors would love to give more input on dishes and desserts- of course with any extended stay when you are used to cooking on your own. To accommodate they provide options in size and meals.

Work In Progress For Us Here
This is a nice community, but we are still working out some things with them. The community looks great, they do a very good job with the cleaning. One of our concerns has been the height of the tub, they are trying to work something out with us. There are nice activities offered. She is pleased with the meals, but they do take a while to serve the residents. They are willing to work with us with any problems we have. I would recommend this community, but with some precaution.

The staff and residents are extremely friendly. The food is excellent with good portions, the rooms are spacious and the amenities are great.
