Very upsetting
This place has changed so much. It smells awful, and residents are walking around unchnaged in filthy briefs. Staff is so rude and has been a revolving door. Management changes have had a negative impact on morale overall. Very disappointing. Very expensive.

Magnolias of Lancaster
There was a change in leadership staff soon after we arrived. Unfortunately It was not a positive change. Short staffing, grumbling staff. But they were always very kind to Dad. The blindness was something they could not accommodate even though they claimed they could.
If he was not blind, I am sure my scores would have been better.

Felt like home...
Magnolias felt like we were walking into my mom's HOME again! The atmosphere here is cozy, decorative, busy with activities and filled with caring staff that will treat your family member with compassion, dignity, love and patience. More events are being planned now which give residents the opportunity to host their family members for special occasion meals and activities. My mom began to thrive one month after her move into Magnolia's. She spent 8 months there and received hospice care at the end of her life which was tailored to her daily changing needs. The community here at Magnolias wants the best for their residents. Families and children are welcome anytime. There is no denying how difficult these decisions are for caregivers. Take a tour. Ask questions. See it for yourself.

Peace of Mind and A Place for Dad
My dad is currently a resident at Magnolias of Lancaster and I love this facility for him! The staff is personable and professional. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. Housekeeping is very clean. The move in process was easy and non stressful. The brunch we had was phenomenal. [Names removed] are top notch. I would absolutely recommend Magnolias of Lancaster to others.

Our family had an in person tour with Magnolias of Lancaster and it was quite nice. We decided against it only because i was thinking that I might need a residence for my father as well but he does not have dementia, and therefore would not be eligible for our family.

Highly Recommended
My husband received exceptional care while he was at Magnolias of Lancaster. The staff and management are amazing. They are very caring and friendly and treat the residents as family. They are always willing to take the time to help or answer any questions. The residents gather daily for many activities including music and games. They have a charming country kitchen that can be used for birthdays or special occasions and also a beautiful courtyard. It is a beautiful place to be and is also very clean. If anyone is in need of a memory care facility for a loved one I would highly recommend Magnolias of Lancaster.

Friendly and Caring Community
I had the pleasure of getting to know many of the staff and some of the residents while both of my parents resided at Magnolias. The staff truly cares for all the residents that are under their care and everyone is treated like family.
I like the cozy feeling as you immediately walk in the front door and are greeted by one of the staff members.

A caring facility that keeps the family informed.
I have been pleased with Magnolia's of Lancaster. My Mother has an extreme form of Dementia/Alzheimer's. It has turned her from a loving nurse, Sunday School teacher and wonderful Mother into someone we don't recognize. It has been very stressful for our family as she is someone we no longer know. Every time we visit or call, we get a quick response and through family meetings with staff, have been able to discuss and review her care. Hoping we can find an answer for Mom living a more peaceful life and acceptance into this community. I applaud the staff for realizing that she still has glimpses of the loving person she once was.

Highly recommend
I do think the staff are very caring and they truly do care about the residents and are doing their best. My mom is pretty difficult, but they do a good job with her behaviors. They have been great with communication to us and in family meetings they ask what we suggest to help better care for her. They keep the residents pretty active from what I have seen as well. I would absolutely recommend Magnolias of Lancaster to others looking and already have.

So far we are very happy with our loved one being at Magnolias it has been a great experience so far. The staff members are excellent, they are very friendly and take great care of our loved one. They have a ton of different activities going on, there are so many things the residents can engage with. The meals and dining service is great and the kitchen staff is awesome. We would recommend this community to other families

Great Place to Be
It was very good place. I was impressed with the management, they were hands on and friendly. I never had any concerns. They were kind, and took care of people. There was a lot of starch in the food but it was fine. There was activities in the morning and afternoon, but my loved one was unable to participate because he had dementia but they would make sure he was present. The price was okay. Overall, I was very pleased. For other families, give it a try. I highly recommend this place.

A positive family experience
Magnolias of Lancaster is straight up phenomenal, we have never had anything to complain about. We like that the staff take a deep interest in our loved one, and when we come to visit they stop by and talk with us and they go out of their way to make our loved one feel important. We feel our loved one is never left unattended for a long period of time, she is well watched over. They are also working very well with her to make sure she is eating all the nutritious meals.

Great Activities
I would recommed Magnolias of Lancaster. They are great with patients with dementia. They have an activities coordinator and she plans a lot of activities, they include both inside and outside activities for the residents.
When I visit my loved one he is always clean. They call me with updates and when I call they are very responsive. If I show up unexpected they go and get him for him to see me through the window. I usually go between lunch and dinner time.
